Chapter 4: New Friend
I closed my eyes and put my hands together and started praying. I've called all the saints and angels from above to ask for help and security against the monster in the shadows. I opened one eye to peek at the direction of the glowing orbs. it's gone, there's nothing else but darkness once again
"Thank the Lord, it's finally gone" I could finally breathe and ease my mind
"I'm actually right here"
I yelped from the voice coming right behind me which made me slip and slide from the roof. Before I could reach the edge and fall to my death, someone grabbed my foot and pulled me back
"Are you alright little princess?" A voice of a boy filled my ears as I looked at the creature who saved me from death's hands. He doesn't look scary, he actually looked rather stunning. He has big yellow eyes, his hair was black and curly, some parts of it even covers his eyes a bit, he looks young, maybe he's 20 or so, he was also wearing a black polo shirt and black trousers, he had silver piercings on his right ear and a silver chain necklace
"Don't be scared of me, I'm not gonna hurt you! I promise I'm harmless!" He said with a very pleading look
"W-who are you?" I asked
"I'm Jeon Jungkook, but you can call me Jungkook, Kookie also works for me if you want" he smiled brightly at me showing his cute bunny teeth
"You're a monster, why did you help me?"
"I helped you because it's the right thing to do. Right?"
I just looked at him with more questions running through my mind. Did he saved me because he wants fresh meat rather than dead? Why doesn't he look scary? Why is he too attractive to be a monster!?
"Are you gonna eat me?" I asked calmly
"No! Even though I had ate a human last time" he mumbled the last sentence
"What did you say?"
"Nothing, just having some self conversations"
Stop being that curious Y/N! He might be just waiting for the right moment to rip your organs out of that tiny body of yours
"I wanna say sorry by the way....." he said scratching the back of his neck
"You got tied on the tree because of me" Jungkook lowered his head and played with his fingers
What was he talking about? Is he the one who put the spiders on the cabinet?
"You're the one who put the spiders on the cabinet!" He covered my mouth and shushed me
"You might wake up everyone little princess, but yes I'm the one who added the spiders" he stated proudly and removed his hands
"Why would you do that?"
"Well.... I've saw you build up your pranks from the first to your latest! So I just thought maybe I could add a little something to finish the touch" he looked at me with mischief written in his eyes
Did he just straight up admitted that he stalked me and watched my entire life making the orphanage an entire game zone for me and also changed a bit of my plan?
Yes he did everyone
"I'm a big fan of your tricks and stuff. I've even tried some of it on my hyungs! But they didn't liked it obviously, they didn't fed me dinner one night and took my gadgets" he smiled sheepishly
"You live with more monsters?" I couldn't stop calling them monsters because they really are one
"You can say that..... I live with 6 more guys and they are really nice! Well sometimes, but they're mostly nice"
He seems pretty harmless like he said, he's too adorable to be a blood thirsty monster. I got comfortable around him because of his jolly little feature
"I need you to do me a favor little princess" he said
"What is it?"
"Please, never tell anyone about me or about my hyungs. No one must know we exist, could you do that?" His tone was low and serious
"I promise, Kookie" I raised my hand to symbolize a promise
"Good girl little princess" He chuckled as I returned a smile
I didn't told anyone about him. I don't want anyone to send me to the mental hospital next, I promised to keep it a secret, so I'll keep it. We've been seeing each other on the roof every night, he'll sometimes bring fruits from the forest and I'll bring him sweets from the kitchen. Nothing going bad or so
Until something came to ruin it
