Chapter 15: The Green Ninja

"Aria, time to wake up"

Aria whined and rolled over "tired"

"I know princess, but you gotta get up" Kai picks her up out of bed and places her down on her feet

Aria yawns and rubbed her eyes "I heard noise last night, is everything ok?"

"Yeah, Master Wu's back" Kai replies

"yay" Aria yawns and Kai laughs a bit

"Come on kiddo, get dressed, I'll meet you downstairs ok" Kai pats her head and Aria nods

Aria enters the bridge where the rest of the ninja and Master Wu was. Aria gasped when she saw Garmadon there as well.

"Sensei Garmadon you're back!" Aria shouts happily

The ninja all turn their heads to look at the girl who's now made her presence known.

"Aria?" Garmadon questions as he walks over to her "it's been about a year since I've seen you and you've grown a lot"

"W-why do you have four arms?" Aria questions confused

"It's a long story" he pats her head

Kai clears his throat and pulls Aria over to him and the other ninja "can we get on with it"

 "Right, now where are we at with the four Fangblades?" Wu asks

"Oh, Pythor's managed to take the first two, but there's still two left" Jay replies

"And we only need one in order to prevent him from unleashing the Great Devourer" Cole adds

"Any luck finding their whereabouts?" Wu questions

"No, but the Falcon is programmed to alert us if he sees any suspicious activity" Zane informs him

"Good. If we find the Fangblade, we find Lloyd. Kai and Nya, prepare the deck and double check the anchor. We need to be ready when we first get word of activity" Wu orders

"Yes, Sensei" Kai and Nya agrees

The Ninja watch Garmadon as he brushes his teeth with a dagger. At the dinner table, Kai and Cole stares at Garmadon while he eats black grubs.

"What's he eating?" Cole questioned

"Condensed Evil. Supposed to be low in fat" Kai replies

A grub flies off his plate towards Kai who brushes it away with his fork. Aria then takes it and eats it. The ninja stare at her questionably.

"...what?" Aria asks

"n-nothing" Kai says

Aria looks at Garmadon and he shrugs.

Jay and Nya are then relaxing in the video game room while they watch a romantic movie together. Only for Lord Garmadon to disrupt it by changing the channel. Lord Garmadon also sunbaths on the deck during a thunderstorm, and interrupts the Ninjas' sleep the following night with electricity.

Kai annoyedly stood up from his bed.

"Kai don't do anything stupid" Zane whispers

"it's not worth it" Cole adds

"I'm not" Kai waves them off and walks over to Aria's bed "Aria"

Aria, who had her covers over her head, pulled them down a bit to show her eyes "hm"

"Come on let's go sleep on the couch" Kai holds his hand out to her

Aria pulled her covers all the way off and took Kai's hand. He grabbed a blanket and headed out to the living room with her. Kai laid on the couch with Aria snuggling against him, he put the blanket over them and they fall asleep.
