Prim limped back to gryffindor tower and slept better than she had in weeks

She woke up the next day and choose not to think about what happened, she would simply go on with her life and not read into it

"FUCK YOU PRIM" She turned around rapidly and it was Sirius

"What's your problem?" she was confused to say the least

The common room was silent and everyone stood watching

"My problem?" he laughed

"My problem is that you shagged my brother" He snapped and the room gasped

"Sirius that's enough" Lily shot up

"Stay out of this. This is between Avery and I" he walked closer to her

"What did you think would happen Prim that I would get jealous then run off to be with you, did you think that'd make me realize something" his tone was even mean

"This has nothing to do with you merlin Sirius" she couldn't believe the words coming out of his mouth

"Hes going to use you and then throw you away, and I won't be there to pick you up" He pushed through her out of the common room

But Sirius was only half way done with his confrontation. At breakfast just seeing Prim made his blood boil. But he knew it was all regulus' fault

He got up and stormed over to the Slytherin table, without thinking he grabbed him by the colar and punched him across the face

"YOU CANT FUCKING HAVE HER YOU RUIN EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH"

He continued punching him back and forth until Slughorn pulled him away

Prim stood as the slytherin boys took Regulus away with a bloody face

"Good going Prim" Remus snapped as he went to find Sirius

"Don't you dare listen to them Prim they're being stupid" Marlene tried to comfort her

"I just need to be alone" she walked off to find him in the infirmary

"I'm so sorry Regulus" he walked closer to the bed

"Boys" he looked at them and they all left

"I'm sorry I don't even know how he found out"

"It's okay" he gave her a small smile

"But he's right prim, we were never going to work, we're too different and we want different things"

Regulus knew this summer he would turn 16 and he would receive the dark mark.

"This ended almost as quickly as it started" she left the infirmary

Regulus didn't go to any classes that day and Prim missed having him next to her

"Come on Prim it's the first game of the season I need you to just focus on that okay?" James pulled her aside before the game started

"I got it James" she mounted her broom

She took out all her frustration during the match again James and Prim we're unstoppable, they had a new chaser but he didn't do much.

The win was what she needed. She felt happy and proud of her performance. She was happy until she realized this was the first game that Sirius didnt come up to her afterwards

Walking back to the common room people congratulated her as she walked back and she tried to fake a smile.

"You were amazing Prim" Lily hugged her

"Thanks Lily I think i'm just going to head to bed" she went up to her dorm. Prim was the only member of the team that didn't party that night

Instead of wallowing she had her priorities straight. Now instead of spending hours with Sirius she studied for her OWL's. She studied and studied for hours each day and never left her room only for quidditch practice.

In divination he never even looked up at her. He avoided her completely. His mum always said to kill the infection you must cut it out completely. So he was shutting her out.

"Are you excited for today's game?" Marlene made small talk she knew her cousin was having a hard time and now Sirius hadn't spoken to her for four weeks

"I kind of hate how they always set it up so gryffindor and slytherin play each other at the final" She shrugged putting on her quidditch gloves

Walking out to the quidditch pitch the Hufflepuff team was the best they were in years, and the gryffindor team still wasn't at their prime

"You got this Dorcas" James reminded her

Prim started off with the quaffle and to her suprise their keeper blocked the score. He blocked her twice and now Prim was playing out of anger. She was making shots but only because how aggressively she was aiming.

"Prim calm down" James could sense her anger

But her shots were getting blocked and that never happened. Not even Carrow who was an amazing keeper could block her shots

She now was cruelly snatching the quaffle not even giving hufflepuff a chance to score

"MEADOWS CATCHES THE GOLDEN SNITCH"

Finally Prim thought. She lowered down to the ground and stormed off to the locker room. She had never not been the best at something and she didn't know how to take it

She just had so much anger inside of her. From the game from Sirius from Regulus. She sat on the floor calming down her breathing. She was reacting like an Avery.

Averys became angry when things didn't go their way. They fought and they cheated and they would do anything. Prim never wanted to be like her family yet here she was.

She showered with cold water, put on sweatpants and her gryffindor hoodie, hair still dripping wet and walked up to gryffindor tower. She ignored the cheers and just started her Ancient Runes homework her writing was sloppy and all over the place but she didn't care.

She had to worry about the final game at the end of term before break. Her parents would come. She didn't want to get them mad because despite all the things that happened with Sirius, Mrs. Potter had personally invited her over her house over the holidays. And she was always welcomed at the Potters
