Bella Jackson Daughter of Posideon

Chapter 1

Bella was in a drama club that rehearsing to do the Hamilton musical in front of the entire school before going on the field trip with Mr. Brunner. Mr. Brunner is the Latin teacher for Yancy academy but he teaches more about myths than Latin. Luckily Bella loves to read and Latin can be self-taught. Bella is a wall flower. The only reason she was participating in the Hamilton musical was to make her mom happy. Bella had a very hectic schedule to deal with. 

4:30: Wake up routine

5:00-8:00: Help open the bakery across the street

8:00-4:00: School

4:30-10:00: Go to work as Waitress/Go to work at the Dojo 

10:30-11:00: Picked from work, do homework, eat dinner

11:30: Bed

11:30-4:30: She practices with her blessings in her dreams so that her physical body can rest

Bella lived and breathed this schedule. Her brother, Percy, however was not so fortunate. He had a bit of a temper and came off as arrogant. Now to look at them you could tell they're related. On paper, you would say that their mother lied to them about being twins let alone siblings. They are both 15 and they are both good at swimming but that is where the similarities end. Percy was always being served detention. He was flunking many of his classes. His only friend was Grover, a handicapped friend of his. He has no serious dreams for the future. He has no part time jobs or hobbies outside of school. Bella is a straight A's student who never in trouble than to never seem to hangout with anyone. She had no social life and was pushed to do the play when it was found out the girl could sing. She is a black belt martial artist and a great dancer with two part time jobs. She wants to open her own business when she becomes 18. Bella tried to pass the day as an average student not too outstanding. The teachers were the only ones who knew about her work ethic. She ran her life on a need to know basis. The Hamilton play began exactly at 8:30 and went on for two hours. The applause was loud and incredibly everyone was wide awake through all of it. The English teacher stood up and complemented the Drama club on the musical. The sophomores had an English paper now due in class on Hamilton that made more sense to them than the book. Bella hurried off the stage and got dressed in my street clothes to go to the museum with Percy and our class.

"Hey sis. Well done. I bet you're glad that is over though." Percy said as he and Grover came over to Bella 

"Beyond glad. Now lets hurry up and get this field trip over. Just because all the bosses gave me a vacation does not mean I want to waste time. " Bella said 

"I thought you had like 3 jobs?" Grover asked 

"And all of them decided, after finding out her schedule and having worked for them for two years, that she needed to spend at least one summer acting like a kid. They are actually paying her to take a holiday." Percy teased Bella

Bella stuck her tongue out at Percy before boarding the bus. At the museum the Yancy students were following behind Mr. Brunner as he lectured about the Olympian Gods. They stopped to look at a picture of Kronos eating his children. 

"Percy Jackson, can you tell me what this painting is and its story?" Mr. Brunner asked 

"Uhh... That is Kronos eating his children, right?  He now became the king of the Titans, and took for his consort his sister ; she bore by him , , , , and , all of whom he swallowed because his own parents had warned that he would be overthrown by his own child. When was born, however, Rhea hid him in and tricked Cronus into swallowing a stone instead. Zeus grew up, forced Cronus to disgorge his brothers and sisters, waged war on Cronus, and was victorious." Percy said before glancing at Bella who nodded
