Aelin
Aelin let go of Rowan to survey who was here. She saw the girl, who she presumed was Feyre, also run to her mate and kiss him. From Aelin's court was Rowan, Aedion, Lysandra, Manon, Dorian, Chaol, Lorcan, Fenrys and Elide. Aelin took in the sight of all of them here together, as she smiled.
"Who's running my kingdom?" Aelin snapped as she remembered that if everyone was here, no one would be there to protect it.
"Relax, Fireheart," Rowan said. "Yrene is there, she can over see things for a little while." Aelin punched Rowan's shoulder.
"You're telling me that you left Yrene, by herself, to deal with Darrow," Aelin commented.
"She--" Rowan started
"Save it, well see how long it takes before Darrow loses an eye," Aelin remarked. She didn't know Yrene that well, but she did like her as soon as they met. Her hatred for Darrow, triumphed over Aelin's, even though she didn't even have to deal with him everyday. Aelin also loved their new daughter Hafiza, named after Healer on High of the Torre Cesme. Chaol just shrugged, seemingly fine with it.
Aelin looked at Lysandra, gesturing her head towards Aedion. "Hope he didn't cause too much of a problem, when I disappeared." Lysandra chuckled, "He didn't even last 30 seconds before causing a ruckus." Aedion glared at Lysandra, and she stuck her tongue out in response.
Mor, Cassian, Azriel, and Rhysand stared at the 10 powerful beings standing in their presence. Rhysand's arms were around Feyre's waist, "Thank you for bringing Feyre home to us," Rhysand said, Mor, Amren, Cass, and Azriel all nodding their heads in agreement. Elain was nowhere in sight.
"It was the least we could do, considering that I was also here and that you guys helped get back home," Aelin responded. Rowan raised an eyebrow, but gave him a look saying I will explain later. Rowan's eyes wandered over to where Amren was.
"Do I know you?" Rowan asked, those her silver eyes stared back into his pine green eyes.
"Aelin do you mind, I really don't feel like starting a war right now," Amren commented as she sat back down on to a chair.
"Who are you?" Rowan growled, Fenrys also staring at her like, as if he couldn't put a finger of where he saw her before.
"Rowan," Aelin warned, "I already promised them we wouldn't kill each. And trust me when I said that I already put a sword to her throat.... But she is Deanna, in some other non goddess form. Apparently, she was spending her time in this world for the past thousand years, and only popped back into ours when she decided that she wanted to kill some people."
Rowan, Aedion, Fenrys, and Lysandra all eyed Amren very carefully. Amren only shrugged. Fenrys and Rowan saw first hand what happened when Deanna possessed Aelin. While Lysandra was fighting her own battles underwater, and Aedion was on the watch tower. They only saw her in Aelin's body, but Aelin's eyes turned from a gold ring, to sliver. The same sliver as Amren's eyes. She also virtually radiated the same kind of power, as Deanna.
"You nearly killed everyone," Rowan growled. "You nearly killed my mate." Amren shrugged.
"What do you want me to say? Her fault if you ask me," Amren whistled. Rowan and Aedion both reached for the hilt of their swords.
"You two, cut it out!" Aelin said, jerking her head towards Aedion and Rowan. "She is friends with these guys. If we attack her, then we are going to have a little skirmish on our hands, something I do not want to deal with right now. Yes, I know she destroyed Elena. I know she betrayed me. I know she possessed me. I know that I thought that I killed her, but apparently not. And apparently the other gods, or ex gods are still out there scattered across worlds. But there is nothing that we can do about it." Amren shrugged again, "You should listen to your Queen." As fast as a blink of an eye, Fenrys jumped--using his magic--to the other side of the room and punched her jaw. Everyone drew out their weapons, as Amren spat blood. Amren didn't get up from the chair, as she shrugged again.
"I don't care who you are now, or what you mean to the people here. But if you ever pull that sort of stunt again on my Queen, or anyone else in this court, I will kill you," Fenrys growled, Rowan echoing him. Silence settled, until Amren said, "Like, Aelin said I also don't feel like getting into a skirmish right now. So everyone put your weapons down, and take a deep breath." Per Amren's request, weapons were put away.
"If we have no other business with you fellows, I think it's best we be going," Aelin said. She frowned when she realized the portal closed. "Guess we're going to have to open another one, any place that you don't mind getting blood on."
All of the sudden, Elain bursted into the room and yelled, "Don't go anywhere!"
