KACELY
Song: Real friends - Cami Cabello

Immediately the bell rings, I park my bag and rush out of the Biology lab straight for the academic block. The hallway is practically empty while I walk towards the Lower Sixth Arts class to look for Amy.

Her teacher isn't out of the class yet, so I just lean on the wall and wait. He steps out moments later and the students follow suit, heading for the cafeteria, but I don't see Amy. What if she didn't come to school today? What if she was so sad yesterday and decided not to come to school today?

I ignore my paranoia and look inside the class.
Amy is sitting on the last column to the right with a loaf of bread in her hand, a bowl of what I think is salad in front of her along with a bottle of juice. Why doesn't she eat in the cafeteria?

"Amy?" I call out, with my hands in my lab jacket pockets. She stops chewing and looks up at me before rolling her eyes.

"Hey" I say when she doesn't reply me.

"What do you want Kacely?" She asks after exhaling deeply.

"Look, I'm sorry about yesterday. Really sorry. I... I didn't miss out intentionally."

"Sure." She replies flatly.

"I swear it."

"It's fine, really." She smiles lazily.

"You're not mad?"

"Of course not, why should I be?"

"I thought you were, because... You've been ignoring my calls since yesterday." I say.

"I have." She states, way too honestly.

"You have? Why? Didn't you say you weren't angry?" I ask and sit on the chair next to her.

"Because... Kacely, I totally understand you. It was a stupid idea."

"What was?"

"Us thinking I could work out and actually lose weight, I mean I get why you didn't show up. I would've given up on me too. I just thought you wouldn't give up on me so easily, like everyone else did."

"It's not stupid and I didn't give up on you. I honestly just got caught up in something."

"It's fine, OK. I get it." She replies, not even looking at me, instead she parks her bag.

"No, it's not OK."

"For real, I get it. You don't have to bother yourself about anything."

"So you'll be there tomorrow? For... sports?" I ask.

"Of course not. It's over, like over over. I don't want us to continue a lost cause." She says and stands up. "Can I pass?"

"Oh come on Amy, I really want to help you here, I want us to work out together." I tell her but she just walks passed me like she can't hear what I'm saying. "Don't you think you're overreacting?" I frown. "So you're just going to ignore me?" I raise my voice a little bit.

"What's your problem?" She shouts back. "You tell me you want us to work out together but after the first day you just don't show up. I called and called but nothing! I'm not going to let you make me feel like a burden to you. Just leave me alone!" She says and walks towards the door.

"I apologized already, and I called you back but you didn't answer." I fireback. I can't believe I'm arguing with Amy right now.

"This is just ridiculous, and childish..."
