FINN HAD BEEN SLUSHIED SO NOW THE REST OF THE NEW DIRECTIONS WERE IN PANIC MODE. Watching as Quinn carefully wiped the slushy away from his eyes, the less popular members of the group let out hopeless sighs.
"The slushy war has commenced." Kurt sighed with a shake of his head.
"And if Finn and Quinn got nailed, then none of us are safe." Mercedes added on, leaning her head onto her hands in dismay.
"I think some of the slushy's actually gone into my brain." Katy groaned, "I feel all wobbly."
Unknown to the low mood in the choir room, Mr Schue came into the room with his usual excited smile as he gave them the next assignment for the week, "okay, we're a little behind for sectionals due to our Sue Sylvester detour but you guys liked doing mash ups right? And I'm gonna keep you fired up. But there's an important lesson to be learnt with mash ups. Some things are so different that they don't feel like they should go together, but the big difference between them is what makes them great. Like chocolate and bacon."
"Or glee club and football." Finn mumbled from across the room, where he was being cleaned up by a rather frustrated Quinn.
"Exactly!" Mr Schue cheered, "but you've proven that it is a great combination!" He said, enthusiastically, as if he hadn't seen Finn's miserable expression whilst he gave them all a copy of the sheet music, "this is my personal favourite song, your assignment is to find an unexpected song to mash it up with."
Looking to either side of him, Kurt raised an eyebrow, "Bust a move?"
"Yeah this song is old school." Mercedes laughed.
"Alright." Mr Schue rolled his eyes, "Artie, try and follow us along on the bass. Finn, take us through it."
Shaking his head, Finn pointed to the slushy on his face, "sorry Mr Schuester, I got corn syrup in my eye."
Moving next onto Puck, Mr Schue didn't seem as bothered as Rachel as to the lack of leading men in the room, pulling off his sweater, "it's okay Rachel, I guess I'm gonna have to show these guys how it's done."
Raising an eyebrow as Mr Schue started to sing, Katy rolled her eyes as Matt and Mike jumped forward, grabbing each of her hands, forcing her to enjoy herself.

PUCK HAD SUNG 'SWEET CAROLINE' TO RACHEL, SOMETHING KATY FOUND A BIT SUSPICIOUS. Approaching her brother at his locker, she raised an eyebrow as she leant against the locker next to him and waited to be noticed.
Finally realising his sister was stood next to him, Puck jumped slightly and mimicked her status, raising his eyebrow back, "are we just gonna stare at each other like this or is there a purpose?"
