I shook out my hair, kicking Nessie's kickstand down and letting her lean on it. I chained her to the bicycle rack and tucked my helmet under my arm.

It had been a relatively long day. First with Daichi and his stunt, then the call with Yaoyorozu (which Daichi insisted on being in the room for).

I was still upset about what he did. He was going to impersonate a government officer, which is against the law! All for a stupid bet with Chiharu. He had always been competitive, even when it came to stuff like this that doesn't really matter.

He took it to far, and as a friend I can't do much except tell him what he did wrong and how to fix it. But as his boss however... I could do lots of things.

Thinking about this some more, I exited the parking garage to go to the lobby of my building.

"(L/N) thank god!" I heard someone yell, making me look up. "Thank god you're here!"

"Sero?" I asked as the hero approached me, leaning down on his knees and breathing heavily.

"Score, we caught her!" I heard someone else say from behind the tape hero.

Denki?

"Why are you two in front of my building? Were you guys just waiting for me?" I asked in confusion as Denki slowed down to stand in front of me.

They were both exhausted, anyone could see that from the way their chests heaved with each breath and the way their skin lightly shone with sweat.

The men didn't answer, instead they kept panting and leaning on their knees. At one point, Sero did try to answer me, but then failed as he ran out of breath too quick.

"Are you ok?" I asked, the new question seemed more important.

"Can we—" Denki started, standing up straight again, "can we explain in your— oh geez, your apartment?"

I gave him a questioning look.

"Please," Sero pleaded, chest rising and falling still as he looked up at me from his crouched position.

"Yeah," I said, taking a few steps towards the door to my building, "sure. Follow me."

The ran up to me, following behind me as I pulled open the front door.

"Shit, (L/N), go go!" Sero muttered, pushing Denki and I through the door faster. He ushered us through the lobby, towards the elevators that rested in the back.

"Wait, Sero, I need to pick up my mail—"

"Later, please, our lives depend on hiding in your apartment right now!" Denki exclaimed, turning around and whipping behind me to help Sero push me into an elevator.

"Ok, ok, fine, but you both owe me an explanation when we get to my apartment." I sigh, feeling like some sort of anime protagonist with really weird friends. "Let's take the stairs, elevator traffic is bad this time of day."

I whip around as I spoke, catching a wrist of each of the men as I turned. I led them to the stairs and released their wrists as I pushed the door open, taking them two steps at a time.

After a few flights of stairs I looked back, both heroes slowly trailing after me up the stairs.

"How high up is your apartment?" Denki asked as he put his hand on my shoulder and leaned on me for support.

"I'm on the fourteenth floor and this is only the seventh, so let's go." I stated, pushing him off me as I flew up the next flight.

"The seventh?!" Denki exclaimed, yelling slightly as Sero shoved him into a wall and ran past him, barreling up the stairs behind me.
