Chapter 37

The day have come where everyone goes back to Tokyo for the training camp that will last for a week.

Shiratorizawa arrived after karasuno, everyone goes out the bus except for one student

Y/n came out the bus wearing a hoodie, his eyes looked around and smirked once he saw kuroo looking at him. He walked away following ushijima who entered the gymnasium

Hours have passed and karasuno was now about to have a match against Fukorodani while Shiratorizawa was against Nekoma.

"Formation will be Y/n you'll be playing the entire set." Coach washijō said crossing his arms

Y/n smiled wickedly as he slowly sat beside the coach and watched as the other teams prepare

Kuroo could feel the tension coming from the male, he felt guilty for what he did yet relieved that Hus mother was now in jail

Back with y/n, he was busy stretching with the help of his underclassmen goshiki.

"Senpai, are you sure you could play now?" goshiki asked as he pushed on Y/n's back

"I'm fine." y/n said before tapping the floor

Goshiki backs away feeling a bit worried about Y/n.

Minutes have passed and the game has started, Y/n was cracking his knuckles as he sent an innocent smile towards kenma while for kuroo he sent him a cold look

Kuroo felt a shiver down his spine once his hazel eyes met Y/n's dead one's.

The ball was sent up in the air and Yaku received it sensing towards kenma who tossed to kuroo, he jumped and slammed the ball only to be blocked by Y/n sending the ball back to their side

It was the beginning of the game and yet everyone felt heavy, they feel like as if something is pulling them down the ground. Y/n has his chin up and glaring down at their opponents before turning his back and going to his position

"Ohoho, someone's in the mood today~" Tendō said towards Y/n who was just staring forward

"Yeah I'm in the mood...I can't wait to destroy them" he chuckled causing for tendō to raised an eyebrow before shaking his head and went back on the game

The next to serve was ushijima, he did a jumped served and was received by nekoma's libero Yaku sending it back to their side

Shirabu readied his toos towards Y/n, he could feel the thirst for the ball coking from the male

'what the heck happened to you..'

He took a deep breath before tossing towards Y/n who smiled widely and runs towards the ball. Y/n jumped as high as he can and pushed back his arm before slamming the ball straight down the floor on nekoma's side of the court

The game continues until the score was now 20-18 in shiratorizawa's favor, Y/n haven't touched the ball yet since shirabu kept tossing to ushijima and reon

There was a short break made my nekoma's team.

"Y/n you need to control the strength you're using" Coach washijō said crossing his arms

"I am controlling it but sometimes I get carried away." Y/n said taking a sip from his water bottle

"If you keep doing that you will be benched throughout the entire game." Coach washijō said causing for Y/n to frown

The game started once again and the score was still 20-18 in shiratorizawa's favor. Y/n was the one to serve.

He bounced the ball a few times before throwing it up the air, everyone felt their breathing stopped as they waited for his serve

Y/n jumped and once he was about to spike the ball he saw a woman by the entrance door waving at him, he didn't managed to spike properly as the ball hits the top of the net which kuroo received and sent to kenma who made a setter toss earning them a point

Y/n was frozen in his place staring at the direction where he saw him mother only to see her gone and the door closed. He slowly went to his spot still shocked

"Dont mind." Reon said smiling at him and patting his back only to get his SRM swatted away, he was taken a back from Y/n's actions

"Dont touch me." Y/n said looking down at the floor with his bangs looming over his face covering his reactions

Reon walked back to his spot while signing and shaking his head towards ushijima who just looked at Y/n who was gripping his hair tightly

'Y/n~ make mommy proud and show them what you got, show them who's powerful and most superior '

"Stop..."

'You don't want to make mommy disappointed right?'

"Make it stop..."

'Win the game, Y/n.'

"Leave me alone.."

'Or I'll-'

"SHUT UP!" Y/n yelled catching everyone's attention he looked up with wide eyes and saw everyone looking at him

Shirabu was the first one to approach him but stopped when Y/n backs away from him

"No...no..don't get close to me.." Y/n said shaking

Shirabu was about to hold him when suddenly Y/n ran out of the gymnasium ignoring the calls of his teammates, he hides behind a wall and slides down Dow the ground while covering his head

"Make it stop...I don't..want to hear you...leave me alone.." He kept muttering

He was having flashbacks of his mother beating and manipulating him, he was shaking back and forth with his eyes closed tightly.

Y/n starts to cry as the voices became louder and louder to the point where he couldn't hear the calls from his teammates and mostly the call from kuroo

He continued to cry until his cry slowly changed into laughter, he was covering his face while laughing manically he was wheezing

Little does he know...there was someone watching Him with tears in their eyes.
