~ Ch.24 ~

It was later on in the day with the sun setting.

"Aren't you going to meet up with Felix soon?" Changbin overheard Hyunjin's phone call with Felix earlier.

"No, Chan wanted me to call Felix to meet up with me at some restaurant but instead of me meeting up with him it'll be Chan." Hyunjin explains to the shorter.

"Have Chan and Felix not been talking to each other?" Changbin was a little out of the loop with those two.

"Not sure, but Chan wants to clear things up on what Felix heard. He was afraid Felix would deny him so he had me ask. I didn't tell Felix Chan was going to be there, hopefully he doesn't run away from him." Hyunjin hoped the older Aussie won't mess this up, he wanted Felix to be happy.

"I hope things go well for those two. So what do you plan on doing instead?"

"You and I are going to have some fun." Hyunjin grabbed the smaller's wrist, pulling him out their dorm.

"We are?" Changbin was caught unexpected.

"Yep! How's ice skating?" He gave the smaller a bright smile that caused Changbin's heart to flutter.

"Ice skating is fine." The smaller didn't refuse the offer, excited to spend some time with the taller.

"Great!"

Hyunjin was still trying to get over his crush on Felix but someone else has been distracting him and possibly caught his eye.

"Where's Hyunjin? Am I that early?" Felix already had grabbed a table for the two to sit and now patiently waiting for the other.

As he was watching his hand stir his soda with the straw something caught his eye.

Felix heard footsteps come up to the table and his eyes grew when he looked up to see Chan standing there.

"W-What are doing here?" The younger felt bad for avoiding his hyung but he had trouble facing Chan.

"I need to talk to you." Chan nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

"Sorry but Hyunjin should be here any minute-."

"He isn't coming." Felix scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. "I told him to get you here so I can speak with you. I was afraid you would deny me if I asked since you're avoiding me." He then took a seat across from Felix.

"I'm sorry I've been avoiding you.." Felix now felt worse.

"I don't blame you. I'm the one who hurt you without even realizing and that's what I wanted to speak with you." He tried to keep eye contact but Felix didn't look up at him.

Felix was afraid to hear what Chan has to say, afraid he was going to be turned down again. As much as he wanted to leave he stayed and listen to Chan.

"I'm sorry, I realized what I said about loving you as a brother hurt you. To be honest when my friend asked me how I felt for you I panicked, I was scared to say it out loud that I like you more than a brother or friend. I thought liking you as a brother was the best option but it wasn't since you were hurt by that and I don't think I can like you as a brother. I've been hurt multiple times by the same ex and for me to finally to have feelings for someone kinda scared me. You don't seem the type to cheat or backstab me and I know you aren't because you're a wonderful person Felix." Chan grabs both of Felix's smaller hands which caused the smaller to look up at him.

"When we were at the fair a few days ago I couldn't help but admire every feature of yours, you make me feel something I haven't felt for a long time and hearing you call me a brother stung which made me realize that how you must have felt and I'm sorry again for that. I don't love you like a brother Felix. I like you a lot, more than a brother or friend." Chan gave a shy smile, hoping the younger's feelings hasn't changed for him.
