I fixed my earring while i stood on the elevator. I bumped with Jay who was grinning like a dog..

he seems to be in a good mood.

"way better than expected. She signed the contract because of my-"
Jay murmured. I shook my head.

"Your irresistible charm. yeah yeah."
I cut him before he can even show off. Jay just laughed at me.

*ting!

the elevator door opened for the top floor. I walked towards my office.

"Minji, my schedule-"
I halted on my tracks seeing someone inside my office, sitting on the swivel chair in front of my desk.

"You should have told me that you'll drop by, Mr. Shim."
i walked towards my coat rack and took my coat off. He smirked at me and waved hello to Jay.

they know each other? tsss

"As if you will hold a welcoming party if i announced beforehand."
I heard Jay laughed from my back.

I rolled my eyes. He's really good at ruining my mood huh? Fine, If that's what he wants.

"Why not? It's not that i don't give a damn to my pets."
Jake hissed and walked towards me.

"Is your schedule clear? I need to try something..."

"My time is precious. Speak your deal."
I walked towards my desk and sat on the swivel chair.

"I'm asking you if your schedule is open."
He insisted. I glared at him as if he's just wasting my time.

And he really is. Hope he noticed.

"My schedules are flexible. Name your goal and it can be or cannot be free for you."

"Oh well then,"
He tucked his hands on the pocket of his hoodie and looked at me.

"Let's have a date."

"Pardon?"
He walked towards my direction, leaning his hands on my desk and smirking at me.

I suddenly felt an abnormal beating inside me. Maybe because it's from the pressure?

Nah it's not love or something. Let me stop you there Cha Haerin, You ain't gonna fall for that kind of bullshits.

I stood up from my position.

"Where should we go?"
I took my coat from the racks and look at Minji.

"Tell them i am away for a moment."
I told her and glanced at Jake who was looking at me with an amused expression.

"I know somewhere where we can have fun."
He smirked at me. I rolled my eyes.

I almost forgot about the deal. I was actually planning on setting up a meeting with him about the marriage instead. It's too silly for me to make such remarks.
