"Ugh..." Remi slowly opened her eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling, Huh where am I? The second she tried to move her body, she felt intense pain on her left arm. "Ack!"
"Remi! You're awake!" Blyke shouted, relieved his best friend survived for yet another day
"B-Blyke? W-where are we?" Remi looked around, and noticed the same woman that 'helped' them that time, "Are we safe?"
"Yeah, that lady healed you"
*tat...tat*
Remi glanced over at Leilah that was walking closer, noticing that she just woke up. Remi didn't notice at first, but Leilah's presence made the air around feel thick
"How do you feel?" Leilah asked
"My arm still hurts a bit" Remi looked at her arm, that was barely able to move. The muscles seemed to be still recovering. Although it was healed, the scars were still there "W-where are we?"
"Before that, let's move somewhere more private" Leilah replied in a serious manner, "I have something to discuss with both of you"
Remi and Blyke looked at each other with puzzled eyes and nodded in agreement. They followed Leilah, while observing the activities inside the facility, and couldn't helped to get overwhelmed by all of it
"Are you nervous?" Leilah asked, "Don't worry, most of my employees here are low-to-mid tiers"
So... she's the sort of 'leader' in this place? And what are these people doing?
*ding!* The elevator opened, and it led them to the top floor. The environment felt instantly different. This time, it really felt like just a normal office building
