Leslie has noticed that his girlfriend has been acting strange as of late. She'll stare off into the distance as if she is staring at something, or someone. Leslie didn't think too much of it, just assuming she is probably thinking or daydreaming about who knows what.
Or just... actually staring at someone or a couple or something. Which seems like a normal thing to do, in some eyes. Lots of people do that. Leslie even.
But another thing he's noticed, is that y/n didn't really pay any sort of attention to him. He would talk to her or ask her questions but he always got no response in return. Trying his hardest to catch her attention was hard, especially when it was focused and set on something - or someone.
He'd always yell out her name. Which did get her attention but the minute he goes to say something, she turns her head away from him and starts staring again.
Which indeed started to annoy Leslie, he didn't understand why she wasn't listening to him. She rarely paid any attention to him. And this has been going on for a few days now. Approximately two days, and still she hasn't touched, or spoken to him.
It kinda hurt...
Leslie also, took notice in her facial expressions whenever the new comer comes up to them. He would say something or do something, and her face would show curiosity and impressiveness. She would also eye off the chick that was with him as well, smiling at her personality. She was pretty and cute, y/n did admit that. And it really pissed her off how the two thugs were talking to her, it really made her blood boil. But she didn't say anything, and Leslie saw it.
He was although, like normal - really chill and calm about the situation they're in and set it out to the two straight. And the entire time, y/n just couldn't keep her eyes off of the new comer - Cloud. Who kept eyeing her as well, with what Leslie would describe as - remembrance. It seemed like the new guy knew his girlfriend from somewhere but couldn't place his finger on it. Y/n almost held the same look, but not quite.
Hers was just filled with curiosity and confusion, occasionally looking quite impressed by him and the girl.
Leslie didn't understand what he was feeling in this moment. Though he knew it wasn't anything good, but perhaps it was - he still didn't think so.
When Leslie told them to go and speak to the trio, y/n immediately asked Leslie if she could join/help them out. Leslie was - not so much in shock, but he was? His eyes were wide but his calm expression was still there. He couldn't tell y/n what to do, so he just nodded his head.
The girl known as Aerith, smiled happily, thanking y/n over and over again. While Cloud just nodded. He was going to tell her he didn't need help, but when he really thought about it - he did. If things didn't go so smoothly. It would be a wise idea to bring y/n along.
Y/n smiled happily, skipping over to Leslie - and the first time in a few days, she finally showed him some attention - or, affection. It wasn't much and didn't last long but he enjoyed every second of it.
Y/n leaned in and kissed his cheek softly, thanking him before turning around and running off to catch up with the two, who were waiting for her patiently. As Leslie watched her walk away with the two people he didn't even know...
"You just lost your girlfriend, Les." One of the men said, smirking. Leslie wanted to roll his eyes, but he didn't. Everything did seem to connect, though, Leslie couldn't just assume his girlfriend was falling out of love with him.
