I am standing at the edge of the deck, everyone is busy discussing something I don't care about in the background, my new favorite thing is staring into the ocean, the sky is blue and so is the ocean, as far as you can see, it is quite relaxing,

he came and stood next to me, leaving the discussion behind by the sounds of it seems like Katara and Sokka are arguing again,

"Lord Zuko" I bowed, "Ryu" he nodded and we both divert our attention back to the sea, after few minutes he spoke again, "Why did you lie?" he asked, "About what?",  I looked at him and he is still staring at the ocean ahead.

"About the scar?" he asked, so he did catch up to that, well I can just stick to my story, "I did?" I asked acting dump,

"I know your uncle did that" he replied, it made my heart skip a beat, how can he, "What, how did you know?" I asked, did uncle told him he was abusive with me, that can't be it,

"Does it matter?" he dared to ask,

"Yes, it does" I replied, I sounded ruder than I should, let's hope it doesn't backfire, "Kai" is the only thing he said, of course, it was her, she have a big mouth with no lock on it, I have to put one on,

I turned around and saw Kai looking at me, I widened my eyes asking her what the actual Fu*k,

"Does it matter?" I asked, turning back to his original question, "Yes it matters, I want my wife and queen of my nation to not lie to me" he turned around to face me,

"So what you want to know, that my uncle was abusive, here you know now what difference it makes than saying it was a training accident?" I pushed my luck a little further; I probably shouldn't mess with him, but what the hell,

"You are my wife and I want to know the truth about you" he answered, he didn't seem angry but it seemed like he was not trying to get angry,

"So you are telling me that I have no right, no privacy, if I am not comfortable telling you something, that just doesn't matter, because you will go behind my back and found out anyway" if he freaked out I wouldn't blame him, I pushed my luck too far, but I kind of want to see where I stand, what I am working with,

"That's not what I am saying" he is getting frustrated, now everyone is listening to us, shit now everyone knows about my uncle, it is embarrassing, "Then what are you saying?" I asked,

He turned around and faced the ocean once again, he seemed pissed, I think that's my clue to go away, so I did, I walked back to the center of the ship where everyone is sitting, I smiled at them letting them know everything is okay,

"Kai comes with me will you?" I asked without waiting for an answer I turned around and left for my room or his room whatever you want to say.

"What the hell Kai?" I yelled as I am pacing around the room, she is sitting at the edge of the bed, "I am sorry Ryu I didn't think it was a secret" She almost whispered,

"So you told him that my uncle abuse me, it wasn't your place Kai" I screamed and stopped in front of her, she is staring at the floor, "I am sorry" she seemed sad, I never yell at her, but today she outdid herself, she is like my little sister, I and Jiang have always been overprotective of her especially after her parents died,

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself, "Just don't ever do that again, you can't tell people about things that are not yours to tell" she nodded her head in response, I raised her head so now she was looking at me,

"Promise?" I asked, "Promise"

I stayed in my room the rest of the day, at dinner, it was quite I guess everyone can sense the tension, From time to time Sokka would say something funny making everyone laugh, or something offensive making Katara give him a lecture, but he didn't say a word, neither did I,
