For the rest of the morning, me and Kai had the most amusing conversations ever. He told me about his life and how he killed his family. What? I turned off my humanity and I'm supposed to care why? As a vampire, I really didn't mind seeing other people's dark side. I told him about My brothers, How I hated Stefan, and how Damon was way too overprotective of me. "I can see why he wants to protect you" Kai looked at me with lust in his eyes. "Oh really? And why is that?" I put my elbow on the bar with my hand holding my cheek.

"Because, a beautiful woman like yourself, you need to be kept safe" He smirked. I felt my cheeks begin to burn again and I just laughed it off. We continued to talk and laugh about random things until I felt someone stare at me from behind. I turned around to see Damon. Great. He walked up to me and I could tell that he was angry. When he came up to me he was only inches away from my face. "Home. Now." He spoke through his teeth. I took the last sip of my drink and turned to Kai. He had a sad look in his eyes. "Boyfriend?" He asked "Brother" I corrected him and his eyes lit up again. I lifted myself up off the stool and before I could leave Kai softly grabbed my arm. "Wait" I turned and did as he said. He wrote something down on a napkin and handed it to me. "Call me," he said with a smirk.
I nodded and slightly smiled as I turned around and walked back home with Damon.
