We've been friends for so long
I'm now an expert in playing safe
In one moment, my feeling got so strong
Even in my comfort zone, I felt unsafe
It was a night I couldn't forget
I clearly remember your smell
We drove through a beautiful sunset
Trying not to hug you, my feelings dwell
"You can hold on to me!" You said
As you guided my hands to your waist
The closer we get, the more my heart bled
Coz the illusion I made is giving me a taste
The friendship we have should remain
I should stop while this feeling can still mend
Avoid it coz I already know that kind of pain
Stop wanting to gain a lover and lose a friend
