'You found me.'
You read those last words, barely able to see the screen through the blur in your eyes. You wipe them away, but they only seem to flow faster. A sob racks through your body, and your hands tremble until your phone falls to the pillow.
'You found me.'
Your breaths come harsh, and burn your clenched throat like glass. Unable to resist it any longer, you sit up, drawing up your knees and hugging them to your chest. Tears fall, rolling down your cheeks, slipping into your mouth, making you taste salt. Your heart clenches and throbs like its just been stabbed.
'You found me.'
Every time you try to calm yourself, you fail, only succeeding in falling apart even more. Barely suppressing a wail, you press your face into your hands. Your mind is empty, save for flashes of what you'd read. Your hands fall, clutching the blanket, as you relax into a criss-cross position. Your head, bowed, still drips tears into your lap.
'You found me.'
