"If the emperor is dissatisfied with us its your head that will roll do you understand me. I'm to important for a sacrificial pawn. So, you better get the job done right this time." The female continues and then the door slams open and shut. Thankyou for that, I think... or not.

As I watch the young 'innocent' female protagonist stride down the hall past the door I feel my perception of the plot crumble a bit more. So not only is it an irrational borderline psychotic stalker it apparently is one with rose glasses for the protagonists. I honestly believed that it was just me being on the other side the last time that made them seem vain, arrogant and derogatory of others but this time the leading lady is literally a traitor from a neighbouring empire out to undermine the kingdom. How is that a sweet romance?

System lets talk.

Please focus on the progression of the plot, the romance between the leads is guaranteed to be favourable as the struggle for supremacy always receives popular reviews.

Even when its is grounded on the complete subjugation of innocent people? Let's talk about the target audience it's definitely not romantics now is it.

Host please make persistent effort.

Why do I feel like there is a reason for these garbage character choices that you're not sharing.

.....

No response? Hehe. I'll get my answers eventually.

"Sir what are our instructions?" A deep male voice sounds, and I see a hulking shadow bending down towards a smaller rotund man approximately at the entrance to the other room.

The former absently guard, and who ever the lady gave the verbal lashing to perhaps?

"just keep working on the merchants, with that women's personality once she has served her purpose and the kingdom has been subjugated, she will be tossed aside like all the others."

"what of the boy that was taken at the same time?"

"He is in the south storage room, I hit him pretty hard so it should still be a while before he wakes up."

"Well we best go move him then so we can move out from here"

Oh dear, I guess I had better find a fast exit.

Crash! "surrender in the name of the royal enforces you're are under arrest for kidnapping for illegal slave purposes witnessed by the Royal commander." A loud voice proclaims after the front gate has been shattered and the enforcers poor in from all directions.

That was very efficient I am duly impressed. Scritch, squeak, scratch. A rustling scrabble of claws and squeak of a mouse sound from the window across the room. Weird I didn't think the walls here where thick enough to be dual sided and have an interior.

Stampeding feet sounded in the corridor as all the previously absent people started to hustle about to either resist or flee. Looks like I'm going out the window after all. I walk over to that side and reach for the glass panel. I slide it to the side and then flinch back as a clock work mouse scurries into the room and then circles my feet twice before starting to glow a light blue as it sits at my feet staring at my arm.

"Ah, here you are. I think we need to have a talk about your prior planning?" Levi says as he swings in through the window landing lightly on the floor in front of me. He casually picks the mouse up and drops it in a pocket.

"probably but to be far that was a surprise opportunity that I'm still glad I took it." I smile as I speak

"oh?" Levi's voice grew dark as he made the utterance.

"Yep heard something very interesting. Besides, I had perfect trust that you'd be here when I needed you." I shrug as I turn to look towards the corridor at the distinct sound of lady's boots coming closer to the door.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence. However, I would prefer to not be needing to chase after you in potentially harrowing situations." Levi mutters moving up beside me and resting a hand on my shoulder.

"What is going on, supposedly this meticulous and yet not even an hour and the royal enforcers are nocking on the door. You bring the boy we took he can be a scapegoat for me." The protagonist's strident voice once again echo's in the room.

I glance over at Levi and then wince judging by the furious glint in his eyes he had likely met the lady or rather female before and had not had a good impression. By the creeping sneer on his face it was probably safe to say that his impression had just hit rock bottom.

Reminding host that the protagonists cannot be killed or have a mental breakdown.

Is it possible for a mentally deranged person to have a further mental break?

Reminding host to protect the protagonist's fragile psychology...

Yes, Yes or change the leads I know. At this stage though they are heading towards an epic romance of star-crossed lovers.

Analysis shows that stories of star-crossed lovers are popular epics and so is an acceptable divergence.

Hmm, it is good to be flexible to adjust to the changing situation.

"I see what you found so interesting." Drawing his sword Levi advanced towards the door.

"Be sure to let the girl and a couple of stooges escape, can't catch some big fish without the right bait."
