Lin and the others left in a hurry after Ozah had told them about who had hired him. Sukara, under the excuse of keeping an extra eye on Zaofu while things were tense, stayed behind. She liked it in Zaofu anyway, but it was a person the kept her there before, and it was the same person that kept her there this time.

Sukara sat next to Wei at dinner, he was excitedly telling her about a new aspect of power disc he and his brother were developing.

She tried to keep her attention on him but she couldn't help but let her eyes wander across the room to where Kuvira was sitting.

"And then when that happens, you go into a penalty," Wei's voice seeped through occasionally, but she wasn't really listening, not anymore.

Baatar Jr had sat next to Kuvira, they were talking about something Sukara couldn't hear but she doubted that it was important. He had shuffled his chair closer to to her, Sukara could see that it was slightly out of place from the others around the table.

The frown on Sukara's face was deepening everytime Baatar leaned in closer to speak to Kuvira, she tried not to stare continuously but it was hard to look away. She could feel herself getting uncomfortable, she shifted in her seat to give herself something else to do for a second.

"You better eat that before it goes cold," Wei told her, the change of topic made her turn to actually listen to him.

"What?"

"I said," Wei sighed, realising that she hadn't heard a word of what he'd been telling her, "you better eat that before it goes cold. Are you not hungry?"

"Not really," Sukara told him, looking down at the plate of food she had barely touched. She paused for a moment to reconsider, she knew she should feel hungry but her feelings were making her feel a little queezy.

"Do you want me to take a bit so you don't feel so bad about it?" he smiled over at her, remembering how anxious she had been when she had to leave food last time. Sukara had been sick that time with a stomach bug and wasn't able to eat much.

"Thank you," Sukara smiled back, he had been a good friend to her last time she was here. They got along quite well.

The two of them swapped plates quickly so that no one would notice and Wei started to eat Sukara's dinner. His own plate was all but empty, all Sukara had to do was push it round a bit until everyone was finished.

Sukara tried not to look back up again, she noticed that he had made her laugh and it sent twinge of pain through her heart. She couldn't help but wonder why Kuvira was still with him, she didn't want to get in the way if Kuvira did love him but she had been so forward with her since Sukara had arrived she didn't know what was going on in Kuvira's head.

The doubts were starting to turn her jealousy into fear. Sukara was so glad to have dealt with Vaatu and realigned with him properly, because all she was feeling right now was negative, and Lin was right, a jealous rage wasn't what anyone needed right now.

It was a blessing when the dinner was over. Sukara stood as quickly as she could and left the room before anyone tried to talk to her.
