That turned into a Touch

Part 1

Was it all a dream? 

I turned to him poking him on the shoulder quite firmly just to make sure he was really there. He flinched and automatically grabbed me, pulling me into his arms. 

"You ok babe?" He asked eyes still closed

"I'm fine hun, go back to sleep. "

Here laid the man of my dreams. As I looked at him while he slept, I couldn't help but thank God for creating such a wonderful man who loved me just as much as he loved my kids. It was only 3 months ago I was lying in this same bed crying for him to come home, I shivered at the thought. 'Come on Shaye go to sleep', I tossed and turned trying to close my eyes. It was nearly 4am and I had too much on my mind. 

The thought of what was happening tomorrow kept me up and I couldn't shake off the feeling something bad was going to happen. Should we go? Maybe it was best if we just stayed home. Nathaniel was excited about it but me, I was scared. I didn't want to leave my babies. Not for a whole week. Was I making the right decision? 

Suddenly my bedroom door opened.

"Mama, mama" Niva cried

"Yes baby. Why aren't you sleeping?"

"I can't mama. "

"Ok baby. Come here, come sleep with mummy. "

She hopped on the bed and I wrapped my arms around her. Oh how can such a beautiful soul be mine and with that thought all my worries went away and I quickly fell asleep. 

"Babe babe. BABE!! "

*slowly opening my eyes*

"Yes Hun I'm awake."

"Hurry Ria is here we gotta go. Today's the day babe."

I realised I had dozed off on the couch while waiting for Ria to come. I was still so tired from the lack of sleep.

"Hey sis. You ready? "

She smiled a devious smile. 

I glared at her and laughed. 

"As ready as I'll ever be. Make sure they go to bed at 7.30pm Ria because if they sleep any later they will be irritable the next day. Make sure Niva only drinks soy milk because she's lactose intolerant. Make sure Noah goes through his word list every night, and make sure..."

"OMG I know Shaye. You already told me this and this isn't the first time I've looked after them. Just go already youse are gona be late. "

"Alright alright alright we are leaving. "

"Ria please look after my babies. If you need us I've put all our contacts on the fridge. Just call us whenever ok? We will call you once we get there. "

I kissed my babies trying not to cry 

"Mummy will be back ok. Aunty Ria is going to look after you. "

"Bye mama"

"Have fun mama. Love you." Noah called out pushing me in the direction of the car..

I turned and hopped in the car. If I had held them any longer I would of changed my mind and unpacked my bags. Nathaniel hugged them and gave them a quick hi-five before hopping in the car. I couldn't help but smile at that.

As we reversed I rolled down the window

"Ria please make sure they are only watching Disney Channel or Nick Jnr. Don't watch any of your shows if they are around. Thank you sis. We shall see you next week"
