The man, I noticed how he stumbled out and began barfing. I could barely hear his heaving and coughing, but I could still tell. Once I finished on the balance bars, I went outside where he had just finished, and I put my hand on his back as he slowed the panting. He had vomit and saliva dribbling down his chin, and passed out. I got someone to carry him to our tent. He just slept, very exhausted and having a small fever. I let him sleep, my heart machine being given new batteries, my chest opened up for that.
