"Wake up sunshine." I hear Damon's voice and I slip off the bed to stretch my arms.
I walked past him and go to Stefan's room "Good morning!" I had to yell over the radio "Could you turn it up a little bit? It's not annoying yet." Damon says "Sorry." Stef apologizes and I turn off the radio, "When are you going back to school?" Damon asked as Stefan starts to do push-ups
"Soon."

"Oh come on. Just drink already. Come on, this self-detox is not natural." Damon puts his glass next to Stef and I smack the back of his head, "Ow!" He scowls at me "Don't say stupid shit then." I shrug and smirk "Can you get that away from me, please?" Stefan asked, "How long did it take you to wean yourself off it the last time you indulged?" The silence was Stefan's response.

"That's not good," I frowned "I'll be fine, it just takes a little bit of time." His try of reassuring me was poor but I will let him take his time I thought.

"I don't get it; you know, you don't have to kill to survive. That's what blood banks are for. I haven't hunted in a human in...God way too long." Damon points

"Oh, I'm impressed." Stefan and I say at the same time, "Will I see you two at the kick-off party?" I changed the topic shortly "Yes." They both answer "Save me a dance." I blow kisses "See you later." Telling them good-bye I leave to go home.

Stefan's P.o.v

After Delilah left I looked at Damon "You two walk on eggshells, around each other."
Damon gives me a face "What do you mean?" He raised an eyebrow,

"Delilah is scared that when you two first dated it was too fast which it was since "I love you" was said too soon but she still loves you, wants you to be with her, wants you to just look at her and tell her"I don't love Katherine and Natalie. I love you, Delilah." and you Damon are scared that she might be that person that will always choose you even when you're being your monster self she will see the good and will always expect good but the fact of her realizing that you can't always be good..."

"She would leave you and the idea of her leaving hurts you." Damon looked down at his glass and takes a good long sip "Little brother who told you that you get to play therapist?" He crossed his arms.

Delilah's p.o.v

I changed my clothes when I got home and wore my guitar pic necklace.

"Come on Jeremy, going to school! Walking out the door now!" Elena yells
"Forgot this." Aunt Jenna hands her thermos
"Thank you," Elena says and opens the door

"Elena! Delilah!" I hear my name come to our uncle John "Uncle John! Hi." I said, my eyebrows furrowed "Jenna." He looked at her
"John, you made it." She said a bit mellow

"I said I'll be here before noon." He entered the house "Oh what you say and what you do are typically two very different things."
Jeremy finally comes downstairs "I need to get them to school." I pouted at my brother "Uncle John, what's up?" Jeremy smiled "Hey!"
"I love you see you guys later."
I push Jeremy out the door towards my car and closed the front door.

"I made a copy of a paper Jeremy wrote for me. I think you two should take a look at it." Alaric hands me the copy
