Not my Sister (Y/N × G!p Aki)

Chapter 5: Kiss Changer

" This sucks." Nami dropped on the couch with a loud thud and and she switched the TV on

"Why, what's up?"

"Y/N is apparently sick. So we don't have anyone to prepare dinner for us."

Aki blinked her eyes in surprise.

" Really? She was fine a while ago."

"Beats me." shrugged Nami as she looked for a good show. "Mom isn't here to prepare dinner. On top of that, Y/N is the only one who knows how to cook. I guess we'll just order take-out."

True to Nami's words, their Mother is rarely home. The woman seldom visits the house ever since Y/N and Nami turned 10. She only visits at least once or twice a year and the girls were left alone to themselves.

Their mother would send them messages, though. And she would also transfer a sufficient amount of money to their bank accounts. The only reason the girls could think of is that their mother is busy with work

"We'll do that." nodded Aki to her sister. " I'll go check up on Y/N."

Aki climbed up the stairs and headed to the girl's room. She stopped in front of the door and knocked a few times before entering.

When there was no response, Aki decided to just get inside. The room was dimly-litted and only the lamp on the bed side emanated a faint glow

Aki turned on the lights and she saw Y/N lying on the bed with her eyes closed. The girl was taking rapid breaths and Aki placed a hand on her forehead.

"She is indeed sick." mumbled Aki in a worried tone. "Y/N, I'll prepare a clean towel for you, okay?"

Aki was pretty sure that she won't get a response but she still decided to talk to the girl. She exited the room and went back with a small basin filled with water

She soaked the cloth on the water and placed it on Y/N's burning forehead

"I'll have to prepare medicine as well." mumbled Aki to herself.

She brushed a few hair strands away from Y/N's face and she gazed at the girl.

"Don't make me worry. You should have told me that you aren't feeling well." spoke Aki with a frown

She caressed Y/N's face and was caught in a daze again.

"Y/N......" whispered Aki as the unknowm feelings knocked back on her mind. However, Aki was becoming more aware  and she is reaching a certainty on what she feels for her stepsister

" Y/N..." She leaned closer and closer as if she felt a magnetic pull. Finally, their lips touched and Aki closed her eyes at the sensation.

Unbeknowst to her, Y/N had a faint recollection of the kiss but the girl was too weak to decipher the actions. She just left it as being part of her dream, while she is in a delirious state.
