Intrigued? I hope so

Okay so the reason the sketch is so messy and nothing is erased where stuff overlaps is because this is for a tech theatre project. Basically, I'm painting a backdrop for our show/musical thing, (even though I know virtually nothing about painting), and—I'm still deciding whether this makes me an idiot or not—I decided to sketch it out in my sketch book first, not really thinking I would find something I actually liked so quickly. So now, I have to recreate this on a six by four foot piece of loose canvas and idk how the heck I'm going to do that, but I didn't erase anything because I needed to see the basic construction.

So sorry that it's crazy messy, but I'll create a follow up chapter for when it's done

Oh, guess I should explain the Czech part

Basically, the show is folktales from around the world. So I got this Czech one about a man chaining death to a stool, and to my surprise, they thought death was a woman. So, I was like sweet, and I drew a Czech Death Woman

ALSO, CAN I JUST SAY—I AM P R O U D OF THAT FORESHORTENED HAND, IT PROBABLY IS NOTHING LIKE IT SHOULD BE CUZ I DIDN'T USE REFERENCE BUT I SUCK AT FORESHORTENING SOOOOOOO
