It was a romatic and soft kiss.

We pulled away as Jay rested his forehead on mine.

"I should've asked this first before I confessed but will you be my person. I want to be able to call you mine and say you belong to me and no one else." Jay laughed a little with me joining in not long after.

"Of course Jay."

Jay gave me his biggest smile before lifting both of us up and throwing me over his shoulder.

"Jay! What are you doing, put me down!" I said hitting his shoulder but he didn't budge.

He started walking out the training room and towards the castle with me still on over his shoulder.

"April is mine, all mine. She belongs to me and nobody else!" He started shouting as he walked into the castle.

I was a little embarrassed as I saw a lot of the maids and house workers look at me. But they were so nice and just smiled and didn't judge me.

Jay took both of us into his bedroom, which was a first in a long time.

His room was a lot bigger than mine and was very luxurious. He placed me on his bed before he walked to his closet grabbing some clothes.

"So am I like the queen now?"

"Well not yet, not until I marry you. That won't be too long" Jay poked his head from the closet and sent me a wink before poking his head back.

"So what now"

"I think," He paused as he turned around to face me "we need a bath"

"We?"

"Yes we. There's a river near the garden. Plus it's dark so no one will see us"

"But-"

"You don't have a choice." Jay grabbed my arm not letting me finish my sentence.

We both arrived at a large lake, the sun was completely down and the moon was reflected in the water.

I'm not sure how but Jay forgot it was winter and the sky was cold which means the water would be cold.

"I don't think this is a go-"

"Woohh"

Jay was already undressed and jumped into the water.

"Come in, it's really nice."

"It's winter, how is the water nice?"

"I don't know, it just is."

I rolled my eyes and slowly started pulling my shirt up but I saw Jay looking so I pulled them back down.

"Some privacy please?"

Jay laughed before turning around.

I quickly undressed myself. A cold breeze passed by making me shiver slightly. I dipped my toe into the water and immediately retracted it back feeling how cold the water was.

"If you don't get in the water by the count of 3, I'm turning around."

"What?"

"3..."

"Wait!"

"2.."

"No stop"

"1.."

Before Jay could turn around, I jumped into the water.

It was freezing.

I was shivering and wrapped my arms around myself so that I could keep warm.

Jay saw that I was cold and wrapped his arm around me. For some reason, he was so warm. And the shivering went away.

After some time of messing in the water and cleaning ourselves, we held each other as we looked at the stars and moon in the sky.

"The sky looks beautiful and so clear that I can see the stars." Jay hummed in response.

"Oh uh," Jay started "I forgot to mention that there are alligators and crocodiles in the water"

"What?!"

After cleaning ourselves in the water, we made our way into the castle, layered up and sat by the fireplace.

"It's times like these where I'm glad that I returned to this world." Jay said resting his head on mine.

"We could've done this in the real world."

"Yeah but I don't have the power to do whatever I want, well I do but it'll mess up the society I created. And being a ruler of the modern world is so much more complicated than this time."

"I don't think I want to go back. I want to stay here, with you. Because I am yours and you are mine" I snuggled myself closer to Jay. We both fell asleep close to each other on the couch by the fire.

I woke up still feeling the warmth of the fire and another person. My eyes open to be met with the brown eyes of Jay.

"Good morning April" He said softly playing with my hair. "I want to show you something."

"What is it?" I asked as we got up from the couch.

"Just follow me"

Jay lead me through the doors that led to the garden. Oh my god.

"Snow!"

"The first snow came down late last night" Jay said as he went inside to grab something, leaving me in the doorway while I looked at the snow falling to the ground.

He came back with extra layer of clothes, scarfs, gloves and beanies.

We made our way outside into the snow. This was the first time I've seen snow. It never snowed where I used to live. Mostly because I lived in the city district.

"Wait, I'll be right back" I said before running back into the building. After a bit, I came back with Sunghoon.

"I'm back with Sunghoon. I thought he would be bored standing around and doing nothing so I brought him here"

Jay smiled, happy to see his friend close with me.

"Guys" I said grabbing their attention.

"Do you want to build a snowman?"
