EP 14: Feverish behavior

"She collapsed because of exhaustion and stress. We'll monitor her temperature because it seems like she has fever or something. Do not worry, she'll be okay. you can rest assured now Mr. Shim."
Ms. Kim said, patting my shoulder and taking his leave.l from my room.

I looked at Cha Haerin. She's still unconscious but she's okay now. They gave her prescriptions before Ms. Kim left. medicines for ordinary cold, multivitamins and energy drinks.

"Jake...? What happened?"
I glared at Sunghoon who was walking towards my direction.

"let's talk outside, you asshole."

Sunghoon's

"Let's talk outside, you asshole."

I gulped, meeting his sharp glare doesn't really give me any confidence about what will happen next.

uh-oh.. I'm dead. 

he doesn't know... right?
probably. He doesn't know.

I trailed his tracks and went outside.

The moment i opened the door, I immediately took a halt after feeling a gun being pointed at me.

*bang!

My eyes went wide af.

He did shoot me. I almost died there. I felt blood streaming from the side of my ear.

"fvck that...."
I felt like my lungs suddenly stopped breathing oxygen the moment i saw the flashback of my whole life flashing in front of me for a split second

"The next time i shoot this gun I will not be lenient anymore and the last bullet on this magazine will be buried on your goddamn skull Park Sunghoon."
He said with emphasis as he pointed his gun towards me. He ain't joking.

I gulped. So he knows afterall.

How?

"Chill... I ain't gonna fight you."
I smirked at him to piss him ever more.

You know what? It really feels so good when i can piss this kind of Jake. It's a rare opportunity.

I should cherish it while it still last.

"Or maybe.. try you atleast?"
I moved as fast as i could and took my gun on my pocket.

*bang!

I felt a bullet piercing on my shoulder suddenly. I dropped my gun as i lost my balance falling on my knees.

i saw him run towards my direction and kicked my arm, stomping on the gunshot on my shoulder and pinning me on the ground.

"Do not test my patience Park Sunghoon I only have three bullets. "
I felt the cold gun-tip getting shove on my temple as i groan with pain.

He's clearly being serious here. dang..

"Y-Yah enough i won't fight anymore!!"

I tried to raise my hands as i gasp out of air.

It's getting cold here.. Damnit.

"Spill everything you need to tell me while i can still control myself."
He glared at me, not letting go of my arm.

"Mr. Cha... Haerin's father! He told me to do that! I- I don't want to interfere but i have no choice- Fvck let me go first! It stings as f- argh!"
I felt his shoes digging deeper on my shoulder making me shout in agony.
