IT WAS A MIRACLE THAT Cedric Diggory was alive. And Natasha Fields couldn't help but feel extremely thankful for that miracle, she couldn't even bare to think about losing him, he was the most important person in her life (something she never would've thought she'd ever say). So, when she was offered a place at twelve Grimmauld Place (where the Diggorys, Weasleys, Remus Lupin and the Sirius Black would be staying) she immediately took the offer, her parents hadn't even been back home and as far as she knew, neither of them realised that the girl wasn't living there.

After the news of Voldemort coming back, Dumbledore was quick to bring back the Order of the Phoenix; a secret society that during the first wizarding war fought bravely. However, only a handful of the people that were originally in it were still alive to join for the second time. This included, Arthur and Molly Weasley, Amos Diggory and his wife; Dorothy Diggory, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Professor McGonagall, Alastor Mad-Eye Moody (the real one, not the creep that taught them the year prior), Hagrid, Mundungus Fletcher and Elphias Doge. The originals were joined by Nymphadora Tonks, Severus Snape (something that surprised all the teens), Kingsley Shacklebolt, Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson, Mr. Haynes as well as Bill and Charlie Weasley.

Natasha wasn't as oppose to living with a on-the-run murderer, especially since not only Dumbledore, but McGonagall and even Lupin trusted him. Plus, not to mention the fact that it still seemed better than staying home alone for the entire summer holiday. She shared a room with Ginny Weasley and Hermione Granger (something she didn't oppose to at all, especially since the two girls  were more than happy welcoming the Hufflepuff into their circle of friends). Rosie and Theo were the only teens that weren't staying at the house, their parents taking them home after every meeting.

Cedric shared a room with the twins (something that seemed good at first, before they started working on their explosive sweets and Cedric lost an eyebrow). Ron Weasley was in a room alone, one that he would later on share with Harry Potter when the boy would finally arrive (even though Natasha thought that he wouldn't, since Dumbledore forbid the teens to send any owls to the boy).

Natasha couldn't help but worry about her other best friend though; even with all the chaos around her. Grace hadn't been returning anyone's owls and both Nat and Rosie knew how her parents were (coming from a long line of Pureblood witches and wizards) and they couldn't help but fear that maybe Grace's parents were trying to force her to the other side.

Cedric tried reassuring both his girlfriend and best friend that the Slytherin was okay and that she was probably just on a spontaneous holiday. That seemed to help Theo's nerves but certainly not Nat's. After all, she had been friends with Grace for years now and knew that she wouldn't just not reply to owls and if she had gone on a spontaneous holiday (like she had during their second summer holiday) she would've sent the letters from the location she was staying at.

"Something's wrong," Natasha muttered as she laid across Cedric's bed with her head in his lap. Her curls were pushed up in a messy bun at the top of her head with a few rogue strands framing her hairline, "I can feel it."

Cedric frowned as he looked down at his girlfriend, his fingers stroking her arm, "She'll be okay, Nat," He tried to assure her even though deep down he wasn't exactly sure if he believed his own words (Nat did know her best friend a lot more than he did), "We'll be back at Hogwarts soon. You'll see that she's okay."

Natasha bit her lip but nodded. Cedric was right, they had about three weeks left of their summer holiday and she was sure that the time would pass quickly and the trio of girls could once again be reunited. Maybe she was just overreacting, after all, it would've been dangerous for Grace to try and reach out to her Muggleborn friend during this time.

"Maybe you're right," The blonde sighed dramatically.

Cedric grinned, "Of course I'm right," He told her, squeezing her side causing her to squirm and slap his hand away. His entire body suddenly felt warm when he spotted the yellow bracelet wrapped around her wrist, the charms sparkling from the reflection of the light. He couldn't help but grin at the smile on her face. She was the reason that he was okay. She stayed by his bed when he was in St. Mungo's recovering from the Cruciatus Curse. She was the last thought in his head before the spell hit him and the first when he woke up. She was his world.

"Don't make me regret saying that," She threatened, pointing her finger up at her boyfriend, sapping him out of his thoughts. He looked down at her, biting his lip to keep himself from smiling as she tried to look angry, but that quickly turned into the couple bursting out in laughter.

"I don't know what's going on! Why won't anyone tell me?!

A familiar voice echoed through the halls causing the couple's laughter to die down. They shared a knowing look and without even saying anything, Cedric placed his hand on Natasha's shoulder and before she could even protest, he apparated them out of his room into Ron's. They landed on an empty bed, scaring the younger teens that were already occupying the room.

"Ah, Harry, we thought we heard you," Natasha teased, jumping off the bed to go greet the younger boy but she stopped before reaching him due to the angry look on his face.

He looked around everyone, crossing his arms over his chest, "Is no-one going to tell me what's going on?"
