jaehyun finally let yiren inside his home, and as of the moment they were awkwardly staring at each other,
on his lap was the small two year old, sleeping peacefully, he ran his hand through the little boy's dark brown locks carefully not to wake him up.
"okay jung, so uh, explain" yiren decided to brake the awkward silence,
"now you know why i was absent" jaehyun sighed, he envied his son, he wished he could sleep that peacefully too.
"he doesn't look like he's a week old" the girl stood up, observing the small body on jaehyun's arms,
"obviously he isn't, he's turning 3 in a few weeks , i send him to daycare when i'm in school, but he got sick again these past few days" jaehyun sighed again, so that explains why he's looking so stressed.
now that yiren thought about it, there were a lot of times when jaehyun would be gone for 2-3 days maximum, but never a week like this one.
"and don't you dare tell anyone" jaehyun threatened,
but yiren was too distracted looking down at the baby(not really a baby but i'll also call him that)
"aww, he's so cute, can i hold him?" her eyes lit up, she wasn't really a fond of children, they were noisy and annoying, but this one was pretty cute,
"no way, you'll drop him" jaehyun hissed,
"i won't i swear" she pleaded,
"you will, what about that time you dropped our class hamster so he got all injured" jaehyun glared at the girl, she actually remembered it pretty well, but still that was back in 4th grade.
yiren faked gasped, "are you comparing your son to a hamster??"
jaehyun was about to defend his self, when the baby in his arms shifted and slowly opened his eyes.
"d-daddy-"
"shh, go back to sleep" he patted the child's head, it was a really unusual sight for yiren, jaehyun was known as that really popular, smart(doesn't study though) fuck boy.
but the baby wiggled on jaehyun's arms trying to sit up, then his eyes landed on yiren,
"who.. she?" his voice was so small, he looked so delicate and fragile as he rubbed his eyes,
"hiiiii" yiren greeted excitedly, crouching in front of jaehyun to face the child sitting on his lap,
the baby stared at her for a few seconds then smiled brightly having his hands up toward the girl, gesturing for him to be picked up,
"pweetty" he giggled,
"wow your son has taste" yiren looked at jaehyun as she picked up the little child from his arms,
jaehyun looked at her in disgust,
"aww, hi baby, what's your name?" the girl smiled as she rubbed the baby's back,
the small child looked back at jaehyun as if asking for approval , the guy crossed his arms then nodded,
so the baby turned back to yiren and smiled happily, "yuno" he answered excitedly,
"yoon-oh" jaehyun coughed, earning a look from the girl, but then turned her attention back to the baby.
"hi yoon-oh, i'm yiren"
"yi.."
"yiren" she said slowly,
"yi..wen"
"that's right!" she lightly tickled the baby's tummy, earning soft laughs from him,
they laughed and played for a couple more minutes, unti jaehyun stood up.
"okay that's enough, time for you to go home" jaehyun picked up yoon-oh from yiren's arms,
the baby's hands continued to stretch toward the girl, obviously not wanting to let go.
"yiren has to go, or else she won't have any food left to eat when she gets home" jaehyun placed his son on the couch and booped his nose, it was a stupid reason to be honest, but the guy was just finding a way to kick yiren out.
"yiwen can eat here" the child excitedly stood up and ran as fast as his little legs can carry him towards the kitchen,
he stopped in front of kitchen island which was almost a feet taller than him,
jaehyun walked toward his son and picked him up, yiren followed from behind,
yoon-oh was finally able to reach his favorite heart shaped crackers on the counter and handed it to yiren,
"eat"
the girl's heart melted, she couldn't help but let out a giggle, but it was already 6:30 and she had some assignments to do,
"she is not eating here-"
"aww, I would love to eat here" yiren cut jaehyun off,
"but i have to go, i need to do some stuff" she frowned and booped yoon-oh's nose earning a laugh from him.
