Her body felt cold in my arms. She wasn't breathing. I was scared I was going to lose her. I don't know what happened, she gasped and collapsed. Luckily, I was there to catch her. She was shouting my name and then her body jolts as if she woke up from a nightmare and she stops breathing. I could feel her body grow colder by the minute. I don't know what happened, but she fought through it and she jerks up gasping for breath.
"J-Jace..." She whimpers. I now realize that it was the major memory that she was missing. The one I was so selfishly not wanting her to remember. I pick her up and held her.
"It's okay." I say cradling her. "You're here and that's all that matters." What if she realizes that she thinks she doesn't deserve me? What if she hates me because I saved her life? What if-
"I'm s-sorry." she cries. I was confused on why she was sorry.
"Why are you sorry?" I ask.
