The knocking on the door wasn't stopping. Nini thought about not answering, she did not want to deal with her now. Or ever. But she deep down knew that not opening that door was only going to make it worse. So she prepared herself, and opened the door. Only to see the one and only, Regina Porter. Smiling and looking more beautiful than Nini remembered. When she saw her, she felt even more small than usual. Gina was taller, had more makeup on and was wearing a killer dress. But her eyes were still the same. Confidence. More than she remembered. It's been almost 9 years since the last they actually talked to each other. But Nini knew this wasn't going to be a chat with an old friend. This was going to be extreme chaos and drama.
"What are you doing here? How did you get my address?" Nini said in one breath. Her shaky voice was notable. Just as the look that Gina gave her when she heard her. Up and down and a breathy laugh.
"Hello Nina. Long time, no see. Can I come in? I just want to steal five minutes from you." Gina said, her voice got deeper in these few years. Nini moved so she could come in.
"Why are you here Gina?"
"Oh god, why are you at the defensive? I'm here to talk to you. Face to face, women to women. We aren't that immature to talk through indirects on Twitter." she said. Nini stood there, analyzing every move, every breath. She wouldn't be here trying to solve things up, that's not Gina. Or maybe that is Gina, and she changed.
"Okay. Let's talk then. Why do you still hate me? And why did you make up all of those lies about us?"
"You had your side of the story. I had mine. I'm trying to stay relevant, you know. My manager thought it would be a good idea to say those things. I think he is pretty smart because I have so many offers that it's unbelievable. C'mon you can't be that mad at me about that! Nina, you are still a big popstar and Rick still is a great actor. Don't act like I ruined your career." Gina said, as if she didn't say that Ricky and her were her bullies. Unbelievable, she was still as manipulative as she was in high school. Some people don't change.
"Your side of the story? You said that Ricky and I were your bullies, that I stole all of your friends. Gina, you bullied me for years! You made my high school experience a living hell. The guys left you because they were tired about you trying to control them! All because you had a crush on Ricky! I wasn't even dating Ricky in high school! But you still cause me uncountable panic attacks on the bathrooms!" Nini screamed, throwing her hands on the air. Gina didn't even flinch. She stood there, a small smile on her lips.
"People change Nini. Okay? I'm sorry if you felt like that." if Nini didn't know this girl that was in front of her, she would have believed her. But she didn't.
"Fine. That's all?" crossing her arms and lifting her head. Trying to look as confident as she could.
"Yeah sure whatever..." Gina grabbed her things and started to walk to the door, but before exiting she turned around to see Nini's back. "And if you want advice, you should move on from Ricky. He is a really bad kisser, I mean I dreamed about kissing him for 9 years to have a really bad disappointment." Nini turned around, eyebrows furrowed and a confused look all over her face, that's when she realized. Gina wasn't here to apologize.
"What? When did you kiss him?" she said, in a whisper. Gina laughed and looked her up and down again.
"At that party a couple of months ago. You know how it is, two single hot people on a couch with drinks in their hands. He was good on other things but in kissing... I get why you broke up with him in the first place. Okay, bye!" she closed the door, leaving a broken and confused Nini standing.
