So over the weekend, we travelled to Mbano for a colleague's husband's burial. It was a solemn one.
On Sunday, during the outing service, the Reverend was preaching about the live and death of my colleague's husband and on the course of the preaching, he said
"I wish Prof will be immortalized"
Then:
4YO: Mum, what is immortalized?
Me: (silent).
4YO: Are they going to pound him in the mortar?
Me: (laughing) Can we discuss this at home?
4YO: So they will bring him out from the ground again?
Me:
P:S: How would you have tackled this question instantly? I'm sorry, but most times, these kids catch us unawares...
