I know the lockdown in India has been driving everyone crazy, but still all of us must stay patient, safe and healthy. Stay indoors until it's absolutely necessary to step out.

Arvindha Bhatia's POV

As soon as we entered my room both Rishab and Svasthi turned to face me,
" You are not agreeing to their ridiculous proposal."
" You're not listening to whatever they say" both exclaimed together.
I put my hands around their shoulders as I dragged them to sit on the bed.

" Of course I'm not agreeing to their proposal, I know my limits. So you guys calm down. " I said.

" Yeah yeah please don't then tell me you were charmed off by Dhruv, I would have strangled him right there if not for Sandeep holding me down. " Svasthi said with a frustrated sigh.

"What's the matter between you two? " Rishab asked knowing all too well already but I knew he was just playing around.

" Am I some news channel to you? There's no matter or infact anything but for some reason that guy was sticking to me like a leech!" Svasthi exclaimed and we could see the lines of frustration appear on her head.

Rishab and I gave each other a knowing look and looked away before we got caught.

"How did you learn about the rivalry between the royals and politicians here? " I questioned Rishab remembering how he had used it to defend me in front of Dhruv.

" I'm a native to this place, have you forgotten?
And as I was talking to Juhi she also mentioned how the politicians were involved in her parents accident. "

" Hmm the palace of Medhinapur sure has it's fair amount of secrets and battles. See despite knowing all this how could they ask such a favour from you? " Svasthi pondered out loud.

As I just shrugged my shoulders she turned me to face her, " Promise me Arvi no matter what you won't agree to their proposal under any circumstances. I know you and how endless you're emparhy is, but this time this could put your life on the line. So promise me Arvi." she held out her hand.

I know she's serious cause she never askes for promises otherwise, I placed my hand firmly in hers " I promise I won't take any reckless decisions this time Svasthi." I swore sincerely and I was pulled into a hug by her.

Rishab too encircled his arms around us saying " Yeah let's stay out of their problems, we're here for our service and we'll only focus on delivering that. "

The next day as I was exiting my room to go towards the camp set up in the hall, I came face to face with Dhruv, he stood leaning against the railings as if waiting to catch me if I escaped.

Not expecting him to be there a small yelp escaped my mouth and I quickly covered my mouth with both my hands.

" Good morning Arvindha." He said and I mentally sighed thinking why he always met me in the most unexpected ways. Instead of voicing out my thoughts I greeted him back with a smile and I couldn't help but notice how good that long trench coat looked on him.

" Is it raining or something your fully packed?" I asked.

" Yes it's pouring since early morning and I have to leave for duty soon but I came to talk to you about yesterday's proposal." he stated as he shoved his hands into his pocket and moved a step closer to me leaning away from the railing.

" I already think you know I would not agree to be someone's imposter just because we look alike, more over this is a royal affair and I do not wish to interfere anymore than I already have. " I stated firmly though it was hard to think when he was this close to me.
