A/N: I honestly can't wait to finish this book (which'll probably go to the end of the school festival arc, ending with the concert episode) and go back to edit/revamp all these chapters. I'm really grateful to those of you who're keeping up with this book!Damn. That's a long A/N. Uwahhhh we're at 7K- nope 10K, NEVERMIND 12K reads! I started this chapter ages ago but I was going through some things so I haven't finished yet-

P.s. Hey hey, I'm alive! Happy New Years y'all! And thank you so much for over 400 votes now, despite me not updating for almost a month now~

Y/N

Once we'd all gotten back to class safety, things were pretty normal for the most part. Now I say that for a number of things.

For one, Bakugou's hair was oddly flat. Secondly, Deku and the rest of us who'd been in Hosu had to keep details under wraps, which was more difficult to do for some. It wasn't actually that many, but I was tired.

Overall though, most of us had gone back to our daily lives, chatting about our experiences during the past week. Did I purposefully leave out the fact that I'd passed out for two days to my classmates after Endeavour allegedly saved us? Maybe.

Eventually I got sleepy again (for once it wasn't due to quirk overuse, I stupidly decided to study before I'd fully rested) and took a quick power nap. Then Toshi decided to bust down the door, so my plans of sleep were interrupted.

"I AM HERE! And now, come follow me to our training facility," He announced.

Once we'd gotten to the designated area, he decided to tell us we were doing basic heir training, in the form of a race.

"In small groups, each of you will be required to come 'save' me, the victim sending out a distress call. Now, this is a race, so do your best and be quick!"

The first group up consisted of Deku, Ojiro, Iida, Mina and Sero. I felt a little mischievous as my classmates muttered about how Deku seemed to be at a disadvantage, at the very least because of how the others seemed to mostly have quirks that aided their mobility,

In a twist of events though, Deku actually ends up speeding to Toshi pretty quickly, but still ended up dead in last place due to an unfortunate slip at the end. I winced a little.

'Gah... I hope he didn't break anything this time.' I couldn't help but be wary considering everything that'd happened since we met.

Nonetheless, everyone in that group faired well. Eventually each of the groups went up and tried their best and that was that.

And all of a sudden we were at *that* part of the year. Finals. Yay?

I smiled wryly. Big tests always were my weak point.

As if the universe were reading my thoughts, Dad appears at the front of the class.

(Whether he emerged from his sleeping bag or from the hallway, I honestly wasn't sure.)

"You all know what's coming up next. Prepare yourselves for your finals. Those who fail will no be coming to training camp over the summer. Now study."

"I HAVEN'T STUDIED AT ALL!!" Kaminari cried out, which only started the onslaught of study-related talk, but not actual studying.

Tests aren't fun. Nonetheless, there was always hope this year would be better. 'I think I've gotten a better understanding of the course content this year... sort of...'

"Come on guys, we can do this together!" I exclaimed in an attempt to lift the mood in the room.

A bunch of them smiled back, which made me really happy.
