I whooshed into S.T.A.R labs and everyone looked up. They all looked like they've seen a ghost.

"Where's Barry?" Asked Iris. "And my dad?" She didn't even ask what happened to Frost who was unconscious in my arms.

I shook my head. "I don't know I thought he would be here."

I set Frost down gently on a table. "Help her. Please."

They were still frozen and wide-eyed staring at him.

I snapped my fingers. "Hey!"

Cisco shook off his daze and stood up. "I'm not a doctor, none of us are. We should take her to the hospital."

"Are you nuts? She's a meta, they'll lock her up and sent her to prison."

"We can't just—"

Just then Barry sped in. He had blood on his suit. His eyes were unreadable.

"Thank goodness!" Iris ran to hug him. "Where's dad? Is he okay?"

"Joe...he got shot by one of Frost's icicles, I sent him to the hospital."

Iris faltered and clutched a nearby table. "Oh no..dad.."

Barry put his hands on her shoulders. "He's going to be fine Iris, I promise."

"Frost won't be unless you guys do something." I snapped. "I hate to interrupt but she needs help like right now."

"Barry, can you speed me to the hospital? I need to be there with dad?"

I felt a pang of anger and disbelief towards Iris. Something he hasn't felt in a long time towards her. How could she not worry or care about Frost? How could she pretend like nothing was wrong with her? She was her friend. Okay maybe not Frost but Caitlin was her friend. I bit the inside of my cheek from saying something harsh to her.

Barry merely nodded speeding away. In just seconds, he was back.

"The cure," said Barry. "Is it ready?" He was eerily calm, his expression was stony.

Cisco nodded. "Yes, but we haven't tested it yet."

"There's no time. Frost's ice powers are slowing down from bleeding out completely but we have to cure her now before she bleeds out completely."

Cisco hurried off to another room. When he returned, he was holding something like a vaccine. He took a deep breath. I could see his hands were shaking a bit. "Here goes nothing." He murmured as he jammed the cure in her arm.

We all hold our breaths. 3 seconds went by. Nothing happened.

"I—I don't understand." Said Cisco breaking the silence. Did it not work?" I saw the panic in his eyes.

"No. It has to." Said Barry.

I clenched my fists. Please please, please. I muttered silently. Wake up.

A few more seconds passed. Suddenly she started shaking uncontrollably.

"Hold her down!" Shouted Barry.

I held her by her side and Cisco another. She let out a breath of chilly air. Slowly, her pale white hair started transforming to brunette. Caitlin's hair. Her pale white face started regaining color. Her cheeks were rosy again. She opened her eyes and gasped out loud, sitting straight up. I let go of her arm and saw Cisco did the same.

We all stared at her for a full 5 seconds unable to say anything.

"It worked!" Cried Cisco. He dropped the vaccine and gave her a huge hug.

He heard Barry heaved a sigh. "Caitlin?" He asked softly coming around to her side. "How are you feeling?"

"I-" Her eyes were dazed and wild. She looked around and rested her eyes on Savitar, who was still silent. The truth was, I was still shocked and speechless.

"What happened? What's going on?" She shivered a bit, clutching her arms. "I feel cold."

"Just wait here, I'll get you a blanket." Said Cisco running off to a room.

Barry gave her a huge smile. The light returning to his eyes. He leaned down to hug her. "I'm so glad you're back."

"Me too but why are you covered in blood?"

Barry blinked and looked at his hands. He didn't even notice his hands were covered in blood. "Sorry, I got some blood on you when I hugged you." He managed a weak smile.

Caitlin still looked baffled and out of it as she stood up. Her eyes were unfocused.

"You should rest." I finally spoke. "You've been through a lot." My voice sounded raspy.

"Savitar's right." Agreed Barry. "Just take it easy okay? I need to go to the hospital real quick to check on Joe but Cisco will be here." Right on cue, Cisco returned with a blanket and wrapped it around Caitlin.

"And me," I added. "I'll be here too."

"Wait what do you mean Joe is at the hospital?" Asked Caitlin. She pointed at me. "And why are you here? Shouldn't you be halfway across the world by now?"

Cisco and Barry exchanged looks. "Caitlin," said Cisco softly. "Do you remember anything that happened?"

"I was at my apartment and suddenly I had this urge to rip off my necklace—" she faltered and her hand went to her neck. "Wait, where's my necklace? Her eyes grew wide in alarm. Frost—"

Cisco interrupted again. "Hey," he smiled and put a hand on her shoulder. "Everything will be fine. Just get some rest okay? I know you're confused and that you have questions but we'll explain everything later."

Barry nodded. "Cisco's right Cait. I'll grab some big belly burger on the way after I check in at the hospital okay?" He squeezed her shoulder and sped out, leaving papers flying wildly.

I studied Caitlin wearily. Standing a few feet away from her. As she sat there clutching her blanket and shivering slightly. I can't believe she's back. She was still the same old Caitlin. But she didn't remember anything that happened. A part of him wanted to keep it that way because he knew that Caitlin being Caitlin, will blame herself after she knew what happened.

He remembered the last words he spoke to her before she turned into Killer Frost. They had said their farewells and she gave him a communication device for them to keep in touch. He never had the chance to use it.

"Savitar." Said Caitlin.

I jumped a bit. "Yeah?"

"I think I want to go home. Can you speed me there?"

"Oh yeah of course."

Cisco furrowed his brows and frowned. "Are you sure you don't want to stay here? You can also rest here you know."

He glared at Savitar like what Caitlin just said was his fault. Like he offered to take her home.

Caitlin patted his shoulder. "I'll be fine, Cisco. Thank you though."

She nodded at me and I speed her back to her apartment.
