Jieun had finished her shift at the cafe. It had been a fairly quiet day and all of the customers were in a good mood. Perhaps that's why she felt a little less nervous today while looking outside the cafe windows. The sky had strikes of purple and pink going through it as it was the end of the day.

Today was the day that she would go on her first date with one of her soulmates! Which was also her first date ever. Needless to say she was nervous.

The cafe door pushed open just as she was wiping up the tables to leave. She was a little surprised that someone had come now, technically they hadn't closed yet. But who came in was what surprised her the most.

Chenle and Jisung both walked into the cafe.

At first she was a little confused, she knew that Chenle was supposed to go out with her today. She couldn't help but think that Jisung might join them too.

Jieun don't get your hopes up, she thought to herself as she smiled at the two boys. He might just want something from the cafe.

"Hey, hope you don't mind but Jisung asked to come along on our little date. He said he wanted to get to know you better, you know ask for a chance." Chenle said as he rubbed his neck.

Jieun just looked at them shocked. Was this really happening? Another one of her soulmates wanted to accept her?

Jisung looked down, "I'm sorry, for everything. I know the hyungs are too. It'll just take some time for them to come around. So, do you mind giving me a chance too?" He asked.

Jieun could see that he really meant it and that he hoped she would give him a chance, like she gave Chenle.

That's exactly what she did.

Jieun smiled at the boy warmly before nodding her head, "Of course I'll give you a chance."

Jisung's face light up, a small smile appeared on his face. Chenle smiled too, he hoped that one day all 8 of them could be together and smile like this.

"So, your shift over yet?" Chenle asks as he looks around. Currently the cafe is empty so he was wondering why she was still here.

She smiled, "Almost, I still have to wipe down the tables." She went back to what she was doing before the boys came.

Jisung frowned a little, "Do they pay you enough to do all this?" He asks watching her worriedly as she continues to wipe down tables.

Jieun's smile never leaves her face as she answers him. "The pay helps keep me afloat, but I just love it here. I think that even after I graduate I could never bring myself to leave. The owners are the best, like family."

She remembered how Mrs. Kang had invited her to join them for dinner on multiple occasions. Sometimes she even went to pick up their daughter from school, when the cafe got very busy.

They smiled as they watched the girl, she seemed to be in a good mood today.

"We broke up with her." Chenle said abruptly.

Jieun looked at him in confusion.

"Soojin. We broke up with her." Jisung extended.

In fact, it was quite the break up. They did it yesterday after they came home.

The hyungs were watching them while Soojin was sitting on the couch and Jisung and Chenle were standing in front of her.

"WHAT?!" she shouted, outraged. "What do you mean breaking up with me?! Both of you?!" She stood up, it was clear that she wasn't expecting them to do this.

"Yes." Jisung stated to her calmly.

"This, this, this is ridiculous." she stuttered. The boys were kind of concerned, she looked like she might just burst.

Chenle raised an eyebrow, "And why exactly is  it ridiculous?" He was curious as to why she said that, but he had a feeling that he wouldn't like the answer.

"Well I mean, don't you all share a soulmate? You two can't just break up with me!"

Chenle's face turned dark dangerously quickly. The mention of their soulmate was a touchy subject at the moment.

Luckily Jisung, who was a little less ticked off by her comment, replied. "Actually you aren't our soulmate, so we could break up with you if we wanted to."

Soojin's face was bright red, the fact that these boys were making a joke of her was enough to regret even thinking of dating all of them.

"The only reason why stuck around was because of them." Chenle added while pointing at the older boys in the corner, once he had calmed down.

"Fine, I don't care." Soojin replied. The other boys winced a little. They were still dating her, but they knew things would awkward quickly with the two youngest.

"Good, glad we got that out of the way." Jisung said, a small smirk playing on his lips. He suddenly came closer and lowered himself so that only she could hear what he said next.

In the deepest voice that she ever heard him use, he said, "If you ever, and I mean ever, talk about our soulmate like that again, I'll make sure that everyone knows your not as innocent as you seem."

He slowly backed away, his face the most serious it's ever been. He narrowed his eyes before turning around. The boys were confused as to why Soojin looked like she had seen a ghost, because when Jisung turned around he had his infamous chick face.

When he went back to where he was Chenle leaned closer to him, "What'd you say to her?" he asked as he looked at the now frozen stiff girl.

Jisung smirked before replying, "I just gave her a bit of advice."

Truthfully Jieun was very relieved, because it showed that they really were trying to start anew with her. But part of her couldn't help but feel guilty, thinking about how Soojin or the other boys might feel.

"How's your arm doing?" Chenle asked.

Jieun had changed out of her white sweater into a cream coloured long sleeve blouse, she was wearing the same black skirt. It was a good thing that she had kept an extra pair of clothes at the cafe in case of emergencies.

She smiled before replying, "It's doing better, the mark stopped bleeding so I just threw away the old bandage and wrapped it again."

The boys nodded, they were satisfied that she wasn't in any pain, but they were still worried. Bleeding from your soulmate mark was definitely not normal. They felt responsible, they knew that they were responsible.

If only the hyungs could come around and see what they were missing.

When she finally finished the last table she looked at the boys, who had been watching her the entire time. They got up and began to head toward the door.

Jieun grabbed a small jacket and the keys before following them. Chenle held the door open for her while she and Jisung went out. It was a small act, but it made her heart flutter regardless.

She locked the door and turned around to face them.

"Ready?"
