Peter's POV
My new job was amazing despite my boss' temper. Ned wouldn't stop asking me if I had met Bruce Banner yet. MJ was... chill. As always. My week had been going even better because I hadn't had a avenger run-in in since Mr. Stark.

Tony's POV
I couldn't stop thinking about my run-in with Spider-Man. There I was talking up a game about how he was going to get hurt one day and what do I do?

I-

"Language!" I heard Steve shout from somewhere in the tower.

I stopped tinkering. Was I talking out loud?

"Yes you were." Clint said from the vents. I threw a wench at the vent. Then he jumped out. "So you what now?"

"I hurt him." I sighed. Clint froze.

"Tony! We were instructed to only use force if necessary!"

"I know! And I was only trying to stop him from swinging off again. But he pulled one on me and I accidentally blasted him." Tony explained. Seeing Clint's panicked expression he quickly added; "on the arm!"

Clint relaxed a bit before he tensed again.

"Sir, Spider-Man has been spotted a few blocks from here." Friday announced.

"I'll go! If I can get closer maybe he'll trust me because... well. I can't really shoot up close. Best of you stay here." Clint said quickly. He ran to the elevator, most likely going to the garage for his new bike.

I sighed and returned to my work.

Peter's POV
I was beginning to worry about my stroke of luck. I stopped on top of cafe and looked around. I could see the tower and wondered if I was risking it being this close. This was practically their territory. My spider sense was pickling, but only as much as it normally was.

I shook my head and sat down at the ledge of the building. Maybe I could go inside and get food? Now that May knows my identity she tries overly hard to make sure I eat. I haven't told her about my metabolism yet, because I know we couldn't afford to completely satisfy it. Also May would hate herself if she found out I wasn't getting quite enough.

From time to time I did wonder what my healing would be like if I ate right for my metabolism levels.

"Hey Spider-Man. How's that shoulder?" Someone asked from behind me. I jumped and whipped my head around.

"Hawkeye?" It was more of a surprised exclamation then a question though. Because indeed he was right behind me. He looked around. I noticed he had a box in his hand.

"Mind if I sit with you?" He asked motioning to the ledge. I just stared. Sure, Spider-Man wasn't supposed to fan-boy but I was surprised he had came this close. Arrows worked better from a range.

Since I didn't answer he just sorta sat down. I moved a bit away leaving a foot in between us.

"So really. How is that arm? Most people would probably lose their arm after getting blasted with that kind of laser. Of course that's if he had it higher then stun. Which, now that I think about it, I doubt he had it higher." He rambled. Before looking me in the face. Or well, in the mask.

"Don't arrows work better from a range?" I asked.

"Well yeah. If my intention was to shoot you." He said before looking at the box. He opened it to reveal food? The man had come up to the person he was supposed to be practically hunting with food?

"What the actual heck is going on."

"Funny thing, Tony was just thinking out loud to." He chuckled. I said that last part out loud.

Just then my spider sense flared.

"Get out of the way!" I yelled. I practically tackled Hawkeye.

Boom!

I quickly got up and shot a few webs in the direction my spider sense told me the danger was coming from. Down. One web hit the face of a guy holding a gun.

I noticed a symbol on his jacket. A red skull with six identical arms.

Hydra. I thought. I tried webbing he up but he shot another bullet. I dodged.

"Move!" Hawkeye shouted pushing me out of the way. He shot an arrow. It hit the gun and the gun flew out of the man's hand. He readied another arrow. This time at the man's chest.

"Stop!" I shouted at him. I shot webs rapid fire, sticking the man to the ground. Hawkeye still shot the arrow in surprise, but it just hit webbing instead of the man. Who was safe under a pile of webs.

Hawkeye looked at me questioning what I had just done. The man I just saved.

"I'll let you take him in but I have places to be." I told him before swinging off.
