THE CAMP had gone into full-on chaos about who is going back for merle. lori was starting to panic as her husband was not willing to give in on going back to atlanta in the search of daryl's brother and a bag of guns he had dropped that could benefit the camp in terms of protection. there were many factors that needed some of their man-power to go back to Atlanta.

shane was also against it. he deemed that it wasn't a good idea to go retrieve daryl's lost brother because of the fact that if they needed for him to return the favor he would never even consider it.

rick was adamant, though. so he was going. obviously, lori was enraged with the fact he was willing to risk his life again just after finding them. carl didn't want him to go either but he began to understand as his father promised to return.

rosaline herself was hoping that he would return without any bruises and scratches on him. sighing, she went into the tent and sat next to carl who was playing with rhaegar's fur as he was laying down at his feet.

there was not much for the kid to do with all the adults arguing and sophia being held back by her abusive father constantly every day.

"rose, can i play with your hair?" a random question spilled out from carl's mouth causing the girl to turn her gaze towards him from daryl who was pressing on the horn of the truck, eager to have rick load up and go help him get merle back to camp.

     "my hair?" i repeated.

"yeah, it's really thick and i'm so bored - plus it's long and i've seen mom and sophia play around with their hair. i know it's girly but i want to try there isn't anything better to do around here every one is angry." he explained shyly causing rosaline to chuckle and turn her back towards him so he could run his small hands through her hair.

luckily, she had a hair tie around her wrist at the time, but what they really needed was a brush. lori probably kept one, or amy and andrea in the rv, "hey, amy! do you have a hairbrush i can borrow?" rosa called to her from the tent where she was standing next to the washing line.

"yes, just make sure to bring it back to the rv." she told her going into the vehicle and tossing it on her lap after coming out. thanking her, she handed it to carl and he began to play around.

"be gentle though, i don't want my hair being ripped out." rosaline joked.

     "don't worry!"

it had been a while and carl was about done playing around with the style of her hair, "want a hair tie?" she offered and he nodded taking it from rosa's hand.

"there's one problem. i don't know how to tie hair." he giggled.
