A ray of sunlight sneaks in through the starkly large glass windows. The bed felt like floating clouds or what I imagine they feel like. There was an unknown presence. I went to sleep alone, I think.

I widen my eyes fast. Taking every detail in. I was in a quite large bed, the surroundings were very much dark except that damn ray.

The memories from last night came floating to me. Well, that was ...

My body felt sore as fuck. But it was fucking worth it. Lorenzo could put me in a wheelchair and I'll say thank you.

I took courage and turned to the another side to catch the most beautiful human sleeping like a baby. Lorenzo was sleeping peacefully like he has no worries. He had his arm under a pillow and his face on top of it. His dark hair was resting on his forehead. Since he was sleeping I took a longer look at his painfully hot face.

Light freckles adorned his toned cheeks and nose. Lorenzo has full, wide eyebrows, better than mines. I draw my attention to his partially open lips. I was too tempted to take a picture but it's not my place to do so.

I gently stood up to not wake him up "Ahhh" a silent squeal left my mouth as put all my weight on my numb legs. I turned around to check that he was still asleep.

I bent down to pick up my top and pant but my panties were nowhere to be found. I don't care right now I'm just gonna leave and never come back again. Easy

I exited the bedroom and started running towards the elevator with a mess on my hair, pantie-less, and pretty sure my mascara is all fucked up.

I'm so dramatic, I was running like my life depended on it.

I pushed the bottoms but it did open, so I keep smashing that bottom like a maniac.

The silver elevator doors opened and to my surprise, it was not empty. A tall, blond man with a large scar across his nose stepped out and looked down and chuckled. What the fuck?

"Rough night?" I have asked.

"You could say that" I answered and entered the elevator not turning my eyes off him.

"Have a good day, Maya"

"How do y ..." the elevator door closed on my face. How does he know my name?

Lorenzo's P.O.V

"Good morning, sleeping beauty. It's time to wake up" Paul annoying ass voice rang through my ears.

"Get out" I yelled out, opening my eyes quickly. I didn't know what the feeling was, but I felt dispassionate not finding Maya next to me.

I mean it was better that way, right?

"She's gone"

"How do you know?" I mumbled running my hands through my hair.

"I saw a girl rushing out of here, very pretty I must add" Paul responded walking in my closet. Who does he think he is to wake me up so early?

"What are you doing here so early?" I shouted so he could hear me. I buried my face on the pillow next to mine. The scent of her hair was still imprinted on the pillow. Roses.

Paul walked out holding up an outfit "We are going to Spain," I forgot about that "so stand up pack your little outfits and rings because we'll be gone for two weeks. You and me, forever"

Two whole weeks with this pain in the ass? Someone shoot me now.

"Did you say goodbye to your wife and kids, there's a big possibility you won't make it back" I mentioned against the pillow, inhaling her scent?

Paul clenched his fist and pressed it to his chest representing pain and replied "It hurts me that you talk to me like that. After all, we've been through? Also, my wife goes with me"

"Marissa is coming with us?" I turned around and sat up.

"No, she's not. I was talking about you, you are my wife" Paul grinned wide. I want to throw him out the window.

I rolled my eyes and stood up, forgetting I was still naked.

"Nice booty" he joked as I place my hands to cover my ass.

"Get out"

Maya's P.O.V
A week later

"Ahhhh," I screamed out as Zara penetrated the needle through my right nipple "that hurt like bitch"

"You knew that piercing your nipples would hurt"

"It didn't hurt that much but you didn't even warn me, stupid" I answered her as Zara inserted the jewelry. I wanted my nipples pierced for a long time but never did it, for some unknown reason. But I had some time to kill today before meeting up with my mother.

"What time you're gonna meet up with Fernanda?"

"Eumm ... she said she was coming around five" I stuttered just waiting for her response.

"SHE'S COMING OVER? Maya, did you forgot what happened last time I trusted her inside your home? In case you don't, I'm gonna remind you, she stole from you. She stole from her daughter" Zara stood up as if the sofa had caught on fire.

She had a point, she always got a point but this time I truly felt like my mother has changed, or maybe I'm just being stupid thinking as a little girl who just wants the love of her parents, in this case, mom because I have no idea who my father is.

I gently lower my shirt so as not to hurt my new piercings. I leaned back on the furniture before answering her "Ok, I know that but that doesn't change the fact that this time she may have changed"

"Last time you said the same. Maya, I want the best for you but I can't tell you what to do, just ... do whatever you want" Zara exhale and left the room.

"Zara, come back" I shouted and no response, that irritated me. Is this how she feels whenever I get mad and just leave?   

After the event with Zara, I went to see any show, which I had already seen a thousand times.

I sat bored on the sofa while the hours passed and nothing. Fernanda did not arrive or call even a simple message. It is not so difficult to lift your fingers and write even three words.

It was about time for me to go to work, and now that I remember I have been very bored for the past week because first, Alexis still does not speak to me. Second, Gad is on vacation, and last but not least I haven't seen Lorenzo's hot face in a week, not that I care of course. But I've been bored out of my mind.

I turned the phone screen to check the time and sure enough, it was almost time to go to work, and with a big smile to be able to make more tips.

Well, here we go to another boring ass night.
