This one is requested by anterfan07 I hope you like it.

You were a YouTuber and loved to vlog about your travels and tell you followers about tips and tricks you picked up while travelling. Your boyfriend, Lance Stroll, is a Formula One driver and you travel with him as much as you can. His father disapproves the two of you being together. He made that pretty clear when you first met him, which was a few weeks ago.

'Dad, I would like to introduce you to my girlfriend Y/N Y/L/N. Y/N, this is my dad.'

'Mr. Stroll, it's so good to finally meet you,' you said and held out your hand, but Lawrence didn't shake it. He started at you like you didn't belong there.

He looked from you to his son. 'I told you not to bring her here.'

'Dad, she's my girlfriend. I wanted you to meet her.'

'She's using you, can't you see that? All she wants is your money.'

Lance shook his head. 'It's not that at all. We love each other. She's not using me for anything.'

'She's a YouTuber, she's nothing,' Lawrence said with disgust in his voice.

Wow, that didn't hurt at all. 'I'm sorry,' you said and walked away from them.

'You shouldn't have said that,' you heard Lance say. You hurried to the car. Just as you closed the door, Lance came running after you.

'He's a dick,' Lance said as he slammed the door shut.

You didn't know what to say. Yes, his dad was a dick, but it's still his dad. 'Let's just go,' you mumbled.

Ever since then, you haven't spoken to Lance, his father. Lance has had dinner with his parents a few times to talk to his dad, but nothing positive came out of it so far.

Today was another race weekend. The first free practices were a disaster. There was no grip and a lot of track limits. Lance still got to P12. The race was a different story. Because it was relatively narrow, there was not enough room to overtake, and when Lance tried to do that, he caused a collision with Alex Albon. In his defence, Lance didn't see him at all. You looked at the footage, and you saw Lance looking in his mirror. Maybe his misjudged the distance, but still. He had a light collision with Alex. There wasn't much damage at first, but later Lance got the call to retire the car.

When he got out of the car, you could see how angry and upset he was. He didn't finish the race, and that sucked. Without saying anything, Lance walked passed you and walked back to the Racing Point facility.

You hurried after him. He just slammed the door shut when you walked in. You knocked on the door, before slowly opening it. Lance kicked against the chair.

'Don't be angry at the chair,' you said.

Lance looked up at you. 'I can be angry at the chair if I want to.'

'I have a better idea,' you said and grabbed a few squishy balls out of your bag. You once read that throwing things at a wall can helpt with frustration, so you bought a few and brought them along to every race you could. You never used them, so now was a perfect time. You handed Lance to balls.

'What do I need to do with his?'

'You throw them at the wall,' you said and threw your first ball against the wall. You weren't even angry, but it did feel good.

Lance threw the ball too, but with a lot less anger.

'Come on, Lance, be angry. It's way better than kicking chairs,' you said and threw another ball.

Lance threw another one too, this time with more frustration. He grabbed the ball from the floor and threw it again.

'Does it feel better?'

'Slightly.' Lance threw the ball a few more times and then sat down on a chair. 'I just fuck up. They already think I'm just here because of my dad, and I want to prove them wrong, but if races keep going like this, they're going to be right,' Lance sighed.

'Lance, not you're here because of your dad. Yes, maybe it helps, but you do have the talent. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here. You belong here, whatever the media might say. They suck. They're wrong. Maybe the mistake wasn't smart, but it was a mistake. And mistakes happen. You'll learn from them. So, just keep throwing balls at the wall if it makes you feel better. I'm always here if you need to talk or whatever.'

Lance looked at you. 'You're the best,' he said and kissed you.

There was a knock on the door, which made you pull away. 'Come in,' Lance said.

The door opened, and Lawrence walked in.

'I... I heard you talk, and I'm sorry for what I said before Y/N. I should be grateful that my son is with someone who is good for him, like you. I'm sorry.'

You heard Lance sigh in relieve. He probably thought that his dad was going to give him another talk or something.

'Thank you for saying that, dad. Really,' Lance said.

You nodded. 'Maybe we can start over?' you suggested.

'Let's do that,' Lawrence said. 'I'm Lawrence, Lance, his dad. Nice to meet you,' Lance said and held out his hand to you.

'I'm Y/N, nice to meet you,' you said and shook his hand.
