ROSALINE THREW her head back and yelled out, "damn it!"

"i'm so sorry rosaline." glenn said, knowing how attached she was to rhaegar. they were practically inseparable. however, animals surviving in the epidemic were so rare. it was bound to happen sooner or later. at least that's what he thought.

"i should've known better than to let him sit in that rv with only jimmy." she muttered, tears spilling from her eyes. however, she kept her head out the window, shooting more walkers trying to take out her sadness on the undead.

meanwhile, rick guided carl and the dog through the crowd of walkers. rhaegar knew he needed to listen carefully so he kept to the former sheriff's side, "there. head for the woods, quickly now." he hissed underneath his breath.

"where the hell are they going?" maggie questioned full of fear, "should i follow them?"

"i think you should." rosaline cried out.

"swing it around, whoa, whoa, whoa." glenn eased her as they tried to turn the car around. rosaline rolled up the window sitting inside, trying to gather her thoughts and push down the sadness for her lost dog.

the walkers had surrounded their car quite quick, "oh my god. i can't get through."

glenn had to make the hard decision, "head out. get off the farm now."

     "don't say that!" maggie yelped.

     "maggie, it's lost!" glenn urged.

"he's right." rosaline defended from the back.

"the others- we can't leave them!" she begged. a walker started biting into the glass frightening the life out of the other girl. maggie let out a horror like scream before backing up with the car.

glenn turned to her, "get off the farm, now!" he demanded.

finally, maggie gave up, driving out of what she used to call her home.

rick appeared behind hershel, shooting a walker that was about to sink its teeth into him, "where's lori? did you see lori?" he interrogated with haste.

hershel shook his head, "i don't know what happened, rick. they just keep coming. it's like a plague. they're everywhere."

that wasn't the answer rick wanted, "lori! did you see her?!" he screamed.

     "no!"

"we have to go." he looked at carl, "find mom and the others."

     bang!
