The next day was just like the one before. Eventless, boring, stressful and tiring. I decided to go to the park before going home. I didn't usually go there at night but this time, it was like something was telling me to go there. I walked towards it through the dimly lit streets. When I arrived there, I stopped walking when I saw a familiar figure seated on a bench. Hyungwon was looking up at the sky like last time.

'Should I go talk to him?' I thought. 'But maybe he wants to be alone...' Before I could even think of what to do, his gaze fell on me. I froze, standing awkwardly in the middle, just staring at him. 'Shhhoot.'

"Uhm, h-hi," I said, raising a hand.

He didn't say anything. Instead, he got up from his spot and started walking towards me.

"I wanted to talk to you," He said.

"Sure," I replied.

"About yesterday... I'm sorry I left like that," He said.

"Eh? It's okay..." I said.

"It's... Okay?" He asked.

"Well, yeah. I understand why you left. But you see, I still need to know what you're hiding. It's not like I don't trust you. It's just... I can't let anything happen to anyone around me because of my oblivion," I said.

"I know but I can't tell you. It will just mess things up even worse. You don't have to worry about it for now. Those men aren't even here to bother you anymore and things are better than before. I want to keep it that way. But if I tell you everything, things won't be the same. I will tell you everything you want to know when the right time comes. Until then, let's stay the way we are," He said.

I could see the sincerity in his eyes as stared deep into mine. I couldn't possibly push him for answers after he gave me that look.

"Okay." I only realized I said that after the word left my mouth. His face lit up after hearing me.

"Thanks for understanding," He said.

I returned his smile.

"So... let's grab some dinner?" He spoke.

I nodded.

"Let's go to the convenience store we went to yesterday," Hyungwon said.

"Sure," I said.

We walked out of the park together to go to the convenience store. I couldn't stop smiling. I was so stressed about it but now everything was sorted by just a small conversation with him. Sure I didn't get my answers yet but I trusted Hyungwon so I let it slide.

"Actually, I wanted to say sorry to you too..." I said looking down as we walked.

"Why? You did nothing wrong." He said.

"Y/N?" I heard a voice from behind me.

I turned around to see Minhyuk and Changkyun.

"Oh, hey Minhyuk, Changkyun," I said.

"Hey," Changkyun replied.

"Who's this?" Minhyuk asked.

"Chae Hyungwon. Nice to meet you," Hyungwon said.

"Ah, I'm Lee Minhyuk," He said.

"Im Changkyun." Changkyun said.

Hyungwon gave him a nod.

"So where were you two going?" Minhyuk asked.

"We were going to have dinner at the convenience store. Where were you off to?" I said.
