Welcome to TDS! This is my nano project from 2020, and it somehow turned from teen fiction to involve a bit of a murder investigation cause I got bored.
This phrase, this phrase right here: This isn't going to be a cliche!
I can't promise that to you guys, but what I can promise is a good time! I'm taking a more simplistic and realistic approach to write this, and I [had] no idea how long it [was] going to be.
Ethan Chen and his friends are actually going to be based on real people, like most of my stories, so refrain from hating on them: they are human, not superheroes.
Lastly, I just wanted to shout out all of the people who have supported me and my writing, which isn't many people, but they meant the world to me in my darkest mindsets about my writing.
Thank you to everyone who will support this book!
Also, I just wanted to dedicate this to my grandpa. If I'm never able to travel back home to see you, I love you, and you and Mama inspired me to write the Heifenmeirs' story. Thank you for supporting my dreams, Papá.
Anyway, enjoy some aesthetics of characters that I found on the internet before the first chapter!
PS, if you want to skip over all of the mood-setting chapters, skip to the third part in this book, the prologue ;)
