Chapter 5

I gasp for air as my eyes opened as the air went back inside my lungs.

"Oh God." A voice cried as I turned to see Kol.

I lifted my hand up touching his cheek as he looked at me.

"You weren't waking up. I called I called." He sobbed.

I didn't let him finish as I pressed my lips on his.

He kissed back sitting me up onto his lap.

I pulled away resting my forehead on his as I sighed.

"I need help." I told him.

Than sirens broke out as paramedic's came running.

"Miss Forbes?" One asked as I nodded.

"It's your forth time. We're sorry but."

"I know." I cut him off.

"Make sure she's safe." Kol said as they put me on the stretcher.

"We will Mr Mikaelson." Blonde said as they took me away.

My feet tucked under me as I sat on my new bed.

Mom was talking to the doctor as Dad sat in one of the chairs.

"This is your forth time. Clarissa. You are just lucky that Mikaelson kid was there." Dad said as I nodded.

"Thank you doctor." Mom said before coming over.

"Clarissa." She sat down.

"If you corporate with the doctors and the session you'll be able to leave in about two months but no more Clarissa." Mom said.

"Yes Mom." I said as someone knocked on the door.

"Come in Caroline." I said known it was her.

She popped her head in as Mom and Dad got up.

"Will leave you two." Dad said before he and mom kissed my forehead.

They walked out as Caroline sat in my bed.

"Nice room you got here." She said.

"Thanks, I'm suppose to be getting a new roommate soon." I said.

"I'm sorry." We both said.

"You go first." We said again.

"I'm good you go." We said than laughed.

"How did you get out? People said Kol."

"It's true, he helped me. I was wondering if you'd could tell him something." I said.

"Sure what is it?" She asked.

"You know Elena right with Stefan and Damon the way she's hurt?" She nodded.

"I want you to tell Kol "Thank you for saving my life. But it can't go on any longer."

"Cassie you don't need to break it off with him." Caroline said as I shook my head.

"No, when I died I was told something serious and I can't put him in danger. Please Caroline please." I pled.

"Alright, I'll see what I can do....be safe alright." She said.

I nodded as we hugged after Caroline pulled away she walked to the door.

I waved as she walked out shutting the door behind her.

I sighed laying down staring up at the ceiling as something went around my neck.

I looked down to see two necklaces one with wings and the other a cross.

I sighed going onto my side closing my eyes. Trying to get some sleep.

I took another sip of my baron as I stared at the wall.

"C'mon Kol go out." Rebekah said as I looked at her.

"Like I said be I am fine." I said as she sighed.

"She's only there for two months. You don't have to be down about it." She said as the door bell rang.

Rebekah sighed going to answer the door.

"Kol. Caroline's here." Bekah said as I heard the door shut.

"Hey Kol...nice place you got here." Caroline said.

"And why are you here?" I asked.

"Cassie wanted me to tell you something."

I shot up grabbing her by the neck pushing her up against the wall.

"And what is that?" I asked as she coughed.

"She said. "Thank you for saving me. But it can't go on any longer." Caroline said as I dropped her.

"And what does that mean?" I asked her.

"It means. She doesn't want to be with you anymore. I don't know why she just said so....I'm sorry Kol." Caroline said before running out.

I sighed before sliding down the wall letting the tears fall from my eyes.
