Dream was a well-known bounty hunter.

He had caught many people before, rarely failing at the job. Rich guys, criminals, people who pissed off his clients; he succeeded in every mission. Despite earning a lot of money from that, he enjoyed stealing things too. Wallets from people's pockets, valuable sculptures from museums and more.

The one time he failed at something was stupid. He tried stealing a hot dog because he had no money on him. The old women there had eyes like a hawk. Spotting him immediately, she started screeching at the top of her lungs and pointing at him accusingly. Needless to say, Dream had to leave his delicious meal there and make a run out of the door.

Other than that, he never failed. He was never in the wrong. He was a Leo, of course.

There was one person he never found, though, and couldn't bother finding. He was once a king. Apparently, he had committed mass murder or something and fleed the country. His name was hard to remember, something to do with a knife and technology.

Dream had two good friends, George and Sapnap. Like him, they were bounty hunters. Not as well-known, but they were very very skilled.

He lived in a crowded village. Why, since he has stolen so much money? His aunt lived there. His aunt was the most important thing to him in the world. When his parents died, she was the one to raise him. Recently, she seemed weaker than usual, but when Dream asked, she told him not to worry about it.

That was why he was a bounty hunter. To earn money for his aunt. He promised to pay her back after everything she gave him.

He also wore a smiley mask all the time. It wasn't because he was insecure, he knew he was pretty, he just wanted to be mysterious. The mask had kinda become his signature thing through the years. He never showed his face to anyone, only his close friends like George and Sapnap and family members.

"Yo," a voice jolted him out of his thoughts. It was Sapnap.

"Hey," he replied, squeezing through a group of teenagers.

"Whatcha doing?" Sapnap followed him.

Dream rolled his eyes. "I'm walking, duh. I need to buy more potatoes."

"What?" Sapnap asked, acting like he couldn't hear him over the noise in the market.

"Buying potatoes," Dream repeated, though he knew Sapnap said it just to annoy him.

"Can't hear you over all my moneyyy," Sapnap whipped out a wad of cash, flaunting it at the other.

Dream's eyes widened. "How'd you get so much?"

Sapnap grinned. "Oh, you know, bounty hunter doing bounty things. I caught Jimmy Neutron."

Dream adjusted his mask. "You caught who?"

"I'm kidding, I robbed a rich guy, dumbass."

Dream chuckled. "Good for you, I guess."

Sapnap nodded. "Yeah, I- oh wait! Hot girl! See you later!" he ran off, his white bandana flowing behind him. "Hey mamas!"

Dream shook his head, continuing to jostle through crowds. That was the kind of guy Sapnap was. Straighter than a ruler.

Suddenly, Sapnap came back with a black eye. He was grinning like crazy, his nose looking like it had been through shit. His bandana was ripped at one side, and he held it at the other side. Dream stifled a laugh. "What happened to you?"
