UPDATE:
My doggo is finally doing well, thank you for all the well wishes. We had a kidney stone scare but, it ended up being a case of mild inflammation and thankfully baby boi is okay :,)

♥️

"It's okay, princess. I'll carry you, don't stress yourself up" I said and slid my hands around Sierra's small and fragile form, picking her up effortlessly.

It scared me to hold her, to actually feel the weight upon me which felt like nothing. It scared me to hold, my princess, who weighed as light as a feather, which is clearly unhealthy.

Sierra took minimal control over her body and snuggled her small form as close to me as humanly possible.

She'd been like that recently, not letting anyone touch her or come near her other than Maya. Maya too was only allowed to come near her to a certain extent, if it got a step ahead Sierra would start shedding tears but her face would remain blank.

It's as though, her body gave the natural biological response it was supposed to but her sole decided to stop feeling altogether.

I shook my head getting rid of the negative thoughts and looked down at princess looking back at me with void eyes, her beautiful teal blank eyes.

I smiled softly, expecting nothing in return, and took small steps to the elevator while my driver followed behind me holding the luggage.

Xander finally gave a green light and said, that we could take Sierra home now but under proper care.

A lot of things were messing up my mind through these days, apart from Princess her old caretaker, Mary had ringed in and fought with the guards multiple times wanting to see Sierra, but I did not let her in.

I was scared, scared to trust anyone at all when it came to princess. I know, she might be angry at me when comes back but I'm ready to take that risk. I don't want things to go wrong, at all, in any possible way.

The elevator dinged open grabbing my attention as I walked in, keeping a secure grip around Sierra.

Once we reached home I loosened my grip around Sierra and tried to put her down but her hands slightly tightened around my collar, to anyone else, it was probably unnoticeable but these small gestures were my strings of hope.

Hope, that my princess will come back.

Throw around random facts.

Talk about what all, she wants to do.

There is still hope, there will always be hope.

I won't ever give up, never on my princess.

I smiled and looked down at Sierra in the eyes, while hers continued to remain void. I, once again, tightened my hold around her small figure and headed to my room as soon as Maya opened the door.

"Princess, you will stay in my room from on okay, no arguments. I need to take care of you, okay?" I mumbled and continued walking inside my room, expecting no response in return.

In my mind, somewhere, I knew she needed time and I ready to wait.

Wait forever, if that is what it took.

I meant down and softly rested Sierra's figure against the cushions and sat in front of her, "princess, do you want to tie your hair? It keeps falling on your face?"
