Jay: with our last step we dance across this line into a new world

*the lights turn off, carnival music starts to play, frightening Jay and startling jake*

Jake: evening shadows fall and it must follow, as the night the day, we wait for our given days and sleep. What days may come, as the sun must rise

*Music starts to distort and faint children singing can be heard*

the lights turn back on and the music stops, the PD looks at Jay, questioningly, trying to get his attention : jay, jaY, JAY

Jake, touches Jay's shoulder only to receive a backhanded slap: OW!
