sakura's pov
i lounge back in my custom-made throne, rolling my eyes at another begging housepet.
"no please, i'm sure i can get it by next week if you don't raise it any further-" she sobbed, falling to her knees and bowing her head down, her hair flowing over her back in a way that made me jealous- no. i have no reason to be jealous. my hair is just as good, no, better than anything she could ever be. her hair is flowing in a way that makes me want to cut it with blunt scissors. maybe i should.
all or any of these idiots don't deserve anything.
"you address me by ma'am and i have every right to raise it to the sky! and that's going to be an added thousand for annoying me, mittens."
i stand from my plush throne, stalking to just in front of her, looking down at her fear filled eyes with hatred smeared on my beautiful features. she tries to back up, but i won't let her.
grabbing her by fistfuls of her hair, i lift her face and smash my fist against her cheek, feeling a satisfying impact against my fist and muffled scream as her inner lip started bleeding.
she tried to propel herself backwards, and i allowed by letting go of her hair, and she smashed against the back wall of my den.
two of the older boys i keep in here cause they're stupid enough be in debt drag her out the door, her body going quiet except for the silent sobs and tears forming in her eyes.
smiling, i retreat back to my chair and sit, waiting for the next challenger to find themselves hopefully lost in debt by me, the queen of this den, and soon to be queen of possibly this whole school.
kirari doesn't seem all that, does she? not compared to my beauty, elegance, and radiance. i can picture her stupid pale face contorting in fear and shock as i flip my remaining card, winning the match and the school, and successfully dethroning that complete idiot. probably wouldn't be that hard. but i'll let her play princess of the student council for now, and just sit back and relax while my servants bring me my rightful money.
"oh right, my sister's here now.. maybe i should go look for her? nah, she'll find her way around herself. if she can't, might as well throw the whole btch out!" i muse, giggling at the end.
two of my cronies smile along with me, so i close my eyes and lean back in my chair.
i deserve this.
this is mine.
i won't let anyone take it from me.
"oh, hi sakura!"
i bolt upright, blinking quickly. i was taken by surprise, but i quickly manage to put on my happy face and the fake voice i use. "speak of the devil, there's y/n! we were just talking about you!"
i hold back a wince at how plastic my fake voice sounds to me, but y/n smiles as if that's the only thing she would expect to hear.
i stand up and clap my hands, smiling and tilting my head upwards. y/n doesn't know my true self, so i'll keep this sweet face on for now until i find a way to get her to gamble with me.
y/n smiles back, and i almost hurl in annoyance. she thinks she can smile directly at me.
then her eyes flit around the other people in my den, and she hesitates for a second, then takes a step closer to whisper in my ear.
