"Those of you at the top will suffer the most. Of course that's what you'll hear over and over again at UA. Show us what plus ultra means! Izuku midoriya placed first in the qualifiers. He'll be worth ten million!"

Again everyone has that scary look on their face. As if they are a tiger and poor little Izuku is their prey.

Midnight goes over the rules with much enthusiasm. After the explication we have 15 minutes to make a team.

Everyone scurries into groups teaming up with people they know. I look around seeing who's left. While looking around I see Shinsou walking up to me. I already know what's happening before he even says a word.

"Before you say anything Shinsou I know what your quirk is." I say calmly if I join his team I can get in easily.

It may be a lazy way of doing things but it's better than being caught in the drama of Deku's, Bakugo's, and Todoroki's teams.

"It's mind control. If I respond to you, you can control me. So if you'd like me to join your team I would gladly do so. So long as you don't control me." I state calmly but firmly

"How'd you know all that?" Shinsou asks bewildered

I only give him a hard stare.

"Fine I won't control you, but seriously how did you find out?" He asks again

"I have my ways. Also That's for me to know and you to find out!" I tease him

He only grumbles before turning back to the two students he has already captured in his little mind game. Ojiro from class 1-A and shoda from class 1-B. If I remember correctly aoyama was with shinsou in the anime. I look around trying to spot the sparkly boi. I end up finding him with Mineta, tsuyu, and shoji. I mean it works!

As I stand by shinsou we strategize together. We both agree going for the lower points will be better. We will be out of the spotlight and it'll be easier to snatch them. You know it's really awkward to just strategize with the two brain dead boys standing behind Shinsou.

I glance around while waiting for the game to start. I watch as everyone gets into teams of four. I laugh a little as I spot Deku crying over the fact Uraraka decided to team up with him.

"Hey now that I think about it I never did get your name."

I turn back to shinsou with a curious look on my face.

"Didn't you read the score board? It's L/N
Y/N!" I question before introducing myself

"Oh yeah, well I have another question for you L/N."

"Y/N's fine!" I chirp

Shinsou only sighs after my interruption. Probably having half the mind to just control me so I'll shut up. I guess I'm just to peppy for him to handle. It's really weird actually usually I'm shy around new people. Oh well.

"Fine then. I have a question for you Y/N. Why do you act as if you know what's going to happen next?"

"Uh...I don't?"

"You do. I've seen you. You laughed when Bakugo did his little declaration at the beginning. Also during the first trial it was like you knew exactly what was going to happen next; so you brushed it off and went on." He stared at me intensely "Just who are you
L/N Y/N?"

I stare at him wide eyed. Am I really that obvious or is he just very observant? It's probably both honestly.
