Trouble in the darkness

Lestat and Alisa turn around then Alisa spots something moving in the shadows.

Lestat: Alisa, what is it?

Alisa: I don't know.

Before Lestat could walk into the shadows to see he quickly turned around and, see a vampire holding Alisa and smiling.

-Hello, Lestat.

Lestat quickly turned around but then a vampire came at him and Lestat spinned in the air and landed on the ground then looked up.

-Lestat, you should've stopped when I asked you to.

Lestat looked up at him.

Lestat: And why should I? What are you planning?

-What am I planning?

The vampire laughed aloud.

-I am here, by my master's order.

The ancient vampire Marius stood forward.

Marius: Why?

-You just don't get it!

The vampire walked passed Lestat and the junior vampires grabbed Lestat, and Alisa tries to run to her father, but Marius stood in front her.

Marius: You don't have to do this.

Vampire looked behind straight at him and chuckled.

-It is ordered by my master.

Alisa: Why are you doing this?!

The vampire walked over to her.

-It's none of business, little one. I have no business with you.

Marius got Alisa out of there and Lestat sees her fighting against leaving him then the vampire punched Lestat.

Alisa: [Inaudible] Dad!

Alisa doesn't see anyone around then she spots her father Lestat on the ground and they run over to him.

Alisa: Dad?

Marius: Easy. He is only unconscious. They really did a number on him. Lestat, can you hear me?

Alisa begins to cry then lean on him.

Lestat: [Groans]

Alisa sits up.

Alisa: Dad?

Lestat: Why are we still in the desert?

Alisa: We are still in Death Valley.

Lestat looked at her.

Lestat: Marius.

Marius: This is Alisa de Lioncourt. Your daughter.

Alisa hugged her father.

Then Marius recognized something isn't right.

Marius is sitting on the chair and started reading a magazine while Alisa is listening to music, and then Lestat walked in the outside area and see Marius.

Marius: Well, someone is awake.

Lestat: Marius, is she okay?

Marius: Yes. But she is worried about you.

Lestat: Where is she?

Marius: She is a big girl now.

Lestat: Marius please.
