The drive home was fine. Kaycee was still thinking back to the way he was dancing with Nat and her heart hurt every single time.

Sean: "I can tell you're still thinking about it"

Kaycee: "how can I not?"

Sean: "kayc, you are the only person in that room I looked at while they did that dance."

Kaycee: "that's a lie, you had to look at her"

Sean: "at the end yes, but when I was dancing I just imagined I was up there alone."

She sighed

Sean: "honestly bub, I have no idea why that happened the way it did, and it sucks, but quit thinking about it okay?"

Kaycee: "I'm trying, I just wanted it to be me"

Sean: "so did I, and I thought it would be, but no, she tortured me and made me watch you look all sexy out there"

Kaycee blushed

Kaycee: "it was game on when she called me out there by myself, I wish I could've seen your face"

Sean: "it wasn't my face you needed to see..."

Kaycee face palmed

Kaycee: "you are something else"

Sean: "but for real baby, please stop worrying about it. I get that you were jealous and I would be too, but there's no need to worry okay? In the end, I'm right here holding your hand, nobody else's"

Kaycee: "I know"

Sean: "good, that's all that matters"

They made their way back and had dinner with Sean's family.

Serris: "Sarah told me you guys are finally a thing"

Sean: "mhm"

Serris: "tell me about it"

Sean: "about what?"

Serris: "how you asked her"

Kaycee didn't particularly like this environment. She was so glad Sean asked her but, telling the story in front of his family was scary for her.

He knew her all too well and ran his hand across her thigh and gripped it to show her that it was okay and that he was there.

She put her hand on top of his and relaxed a bit under his grip.

Sean: "I asked her right after we got done recording a combo for Jojo"

Serris: "so it's on tape?"

Sean: "yeah I think so"

Serris: "aw, I need to see it!"

Sean: "it was literally 3 days ago, it's not out yet"

Serris: "I just love you guys"

They both giggled.

His mom and dad weren't very talkative to begin with; but they were amazing listeners. Kaycee was just thankful they didn't grill her with a bunch of questions.

Sean: "we're staying in the pool house tonight"

Sarah: "why?"

Sean: "cause the big movie screen, and this one-

he glanced over at kaycee

Sean: -is obsessed with Christmas movies"

Sarah: "oh so you're having a movie night with the big screen?"

Sean: "yes"

Sarah: "you know there's only one bed in there right?"

Kaycee put her face in her hands to hide her embarrassment, especially because Sean's parents were right there.

Sean: "really? I never noticed you idiot"

Miya: "enough Sean."

He knew when she raised her voice at him that he was in the wrong.

Sean: "sorry"

She just nodded to accept his apology and went back to eating.

He glared at Sarah across the table, knowing kaycee hated this environment.

Sean: "stop, don't embarrass her."

Sarah: "I'm sorry I didn't know"

He refocused his attention on Kaycee who's face was hot.

Sean: "I'm sorry"

Kaycee: "it's fine, she's right"

Sean: "yeah but she didn't need to bring it up like that"

Kaycee: "your parents know we sleep in the same bed Sean, I don't know why I'm so embarrassed that she brought it up"

Sean: "it's just a weird topic to discuss with parents"

She nodded in agreement, and they finished out dinner respectively.

Afterwards, Sean and Kaycee made their way upstairs to gather pillows and blankets for their night in the pool house.

Sean: "you excited?"

Kaycee: "for what?"

Sean: "to do that dance for me again once we're alone"

She playfully punched his arm.

Kaycee: "stop it"

Sean: "I'm joking, are you excited to spend the night out there?"

Kaycee: "yeah, we used to all the time when we rehearsed for World Of Dance"

Sean: "back when I slept on the floor"

Kaycee: "good times"

Sean scoffed

Kaycee: "I'm kidding Sean"

He kissed her forehead and led them out to the pool house.

He locked the door behind them and they made their way into the small movie theater.

Kaycee: "god it's so pretty in here"

Led lights bordered the top of the room and a huge screen sat straight up in front of them.

2 simple rows of reclinable seats sat steady and she just took it all in.

Sean: "you've been in here like 1000 times babe"

Kaycee: "I know but it's still one of my favorite places"

Sean: "mine too"

Kaycee: "what're we watching?"

Sean: "what do you wanna watch?"

Kaycee: "how about the original Grinch"

Sean: "the princess gets what the princess wants"

She smiled as he leaned in to kiss her before searching up the movie on his laptop and projecting it onto the screen.

Kaycee: "you're perfect"

He looked back at her through the red lights.

Sean: "thanks baby"

They sat watching the movie, hand in hand.

Kaycee got impatient halfway through and broke her hand away, grabbing his and placing it on her inner thigh.

Sean: "what's wrong?"

Kaycee: "nothing, just wanted your touch"

He gripped her leg tighter as she leaned closer in to him and they finished watching the movie.
